its alright

First off, let me start off by saying I am an avid DMC fan starting with when the 1st one came out on PS2. Second, I bought this game for the summer sale.

PRO: This game is very fun and gives me a nostalgic feeling of when times were simpler and I could veg out after school to just kill demons while listening to hardcore music. DMC5 is just this. The stylish combat mixed with a great soundtrack would get my chubby going. It's great to see the franchise moving forward.

♥♥♥: You get to switch back a forth from characters. In my experience and my opinion, V is an asschap sack of ♥♥♥♥ and just isn't enjoyable to play (remember this is just my opinion). It felt more like work just to complete a few levels with him.

The combat system is pretty much the same as the older games in the series but it seems like they've added so much to it that it can be overwhelming sometimes (or maybe I'm just older now and new ♥♥♥♥ confuses me /shrug).

I have 8.7 hours on record at the time and I am maybe 3/4 of the way through but at this point it feels more like work or a responsibility to push through. Hopefully I will find the Will of Fire in me to suck it up and push through the rest. I give the game a solid 5/10. It's worth the purchase if its on sale. Thanks for coming to my TED talk.
