Unlike its titular organism, Alien: Isolation is decidedly imperfect. The story falls flat, your objectives lack a sense of accomplishment, and the campaign drags on longer than it should. When the gameplay is at its best, however, Isolation delivers the thrill of being in the Alien universe, something fans have waited a long time to properly experience.

There have been a handful of Alien games over the years, but none have delivered an experience so close to the intent of the films as Alien: Isolation. With visuals authentic enough to have been ripped right from the movies and a terrifyingly intelligent monster as the primary antagonist, Alien: Isolation makes for a memorable experience.

All in all, the game is great and it's worth every penny. Loved playing it and trully enjoyed the storyline. It got great visuals and outstanding OST, giving you the same thrills as in the original 20th Century Fox' movies. From a dedicated gamer's point of view, I'd give it a 9 out of 10.
