I'm having a blast with this game. I didn't try Vampire Survivors, so Halls of Torment is the game I'm dipping my toe on to try out this genre, and I'm hooked with Its simple gameplay with addicting progression, and I love the retro graphics.
Not only that, but I predict it's going to be one of those games that will always be installed on my SteamDeck for a quick game session.

Mindless cheap fun for everyone.

I always wanted to play this game since the PS1/Saturn era, and finally I'm dipping my toes in the resident evil franchise and loving it. It's amazing how the gameplay still holds up although it's retro.

If they had made the recent Tomb Raider treatment, combining the old graphics with the new updates ones, that would the cherry on top, although I recognize the amount of work there would be insane.

I was suprised they released this on Steam all of the sudden, and it plays great on recent hardware and with no EAorigin bullcrap. Just installed and played with no issues, it aged like fine wine. Thr only issue I had was with the mouse sensitivity while you drag the map, I opted for doing it with the direccional keys.
Immediatly put on my favorites for the occasional playthrough.

Played Dorfromantik on my docked SteamDeck with no issues.
I fell in love with this game, its simplicity and casual aproach let me relax while I was in a chaotic phase of my life, where much needed stress had to be released through slowly planning where each tile should go, while listening to an amazing and soothing soundtrack.

Highly recommended to new parents.

Formidably written, this "choose your own adventure / visual novel" kind of game will send you into a spiral of twists and turns that in the end will make you go "WHAT?".

Loved the 90's setting, the acting is superb, and it's an affordable game, you must have this.

This is definitely an original game, and it hooked me from the beginning, you're a tagger and you just try to find places to place your tag, but the joy in this game is actually the exploration, the characters you talk to, the humor, I loved it.
It's short, simple, and amazing. Fully recommend.

At first I was kind of skeptical because I thought I was going to play a text based adventure, but it's actually a puzzle game, and an amazing one at that.

I boot up the game and I'm instantly teleported into my childhood, the music and set design reminded of the time my father and I (mostly my father) would mess around the ZX Spectrum, that eased up me getting into a text based adventure but it wouldn't take long until I realized this game was a whole lot more than that.
I'm not gonna elaborate any further, you have to find out for yourself how good and creative this game is.
You're gonna love it if you're into 80's setting and music.

It's a must to all my 80's born friends, and a strong recommendation to anyone else.

Before playing the game I was not that into that rythmic gameplay, but they had me with the metal soundtrack so I just had to try it... And goddayum I'm so into it, shooting demons at the beat of heavy metal is a blast.

Fully recommend to all metalheads out there, there's amazing music, a good simple story with a hellish theme, and an amazing, awesome gameplay.

Just a small warning, the story mode is not that long, but there's a lot of replayability and you have access to leviathan mode after beating story mode, adding a roguelike element to the endgame.

The pinnacle of shooter looter, this is what you came for, shooting and looting, getting bigger and better weapons alongside a decent storyline, great humor.

Such a great game, it's been years I've played strategic games, but just like Civ4 you pick up the game and 8 hours went by. Addicting.
