It gets boring and there's no real replayability value. Your choices don't impact the story much or your relationships, you can be an ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ to everyone and it will have no impact whatsoever. I miss the karma and the reputation system. Crafting is okay, a bit unnecessary though.

EDIT: Forced myself to finish the game since my review, and I was shocked by the ending. It really doesn't feel like an ending at all, I actually had to double check on the fallout wiki that it really was the end. No credits scene, like why. I played Dragon's Dogma recently and the ending actually felt like an ending despite post-game play being a thing. It's not that complicated: impact, closure, those are necessary to make a good ending, which Fallout 4 has none of. Your decisions really don't feel like they matter throughout the course of the game, unlike in Fallout NV, which I know is buggy as hell, but is such a better game! The relationship between your character and their son is so shallow, you spend like 5 minutes with him, a total stranger, and you're forced to believe it's your son. There's no substance, no depth to this game.

I did like the Nuka Cola world DLC, it was fun though a bit short in my opinion.
