I managed to hate-finish the game hoping it was going to be rewarding, but the story still feels like I'm missing a chapter or two in the middle. I went from killing speechless monsters to being called "the problem" by intelligent abominations all of a sudden.

The game looks great but the actual gameplay is janky. The hitboxes on yourself and enemies are just way off sometimes, you get hit by things that clearly missed you completely. Some enemies have practical cheat or spam abilities that if you get caught by them just absolutely ruin you. I felt most of the time I was just brute forcing my way through the game instead of using finesse or skill. Just take a buttload of damage and heal it off if I can.

The elemental debuffs are probably the most unfair thing of all: they're easily applied and REALLY hamper you. Burning not only takes off health, it gives you a slight hit that interrupts you, so its difficult to even cure it. Nightmare absolutely does a lot of damage and reverses your controls when fully applied. Electrocution paralyzes you every couple seconds. These effects are ON TOP of the damage tick they do.

Until they tune some of this stuff, I can't see it being any fun of a game for someone other than a player looking for a stubborn Metroidvania.

One of the greatest horror games of all time.

Absolutely frustrating wall-jumping puzzle nonsense that leads you to fall repeatedly, or after you make it to the intended destination, get attacked by enemies and knocked down anyway. Don't waste your time.

A really addictive game with a wide variety of things to do. I lost track of time while playing it.

So intense, I was gripping the armrest.

A solid Metroidvania that seems a little basic at first, but really grows in quality as you keep going.

Pretty good game, combat gets a little rugged when you get too many enemies though.

Biggest gripe is the in-your-face camera angle with Senua every 2 minutes. Give a guy a little personal space, alright?

Good game, found it entertaining.

A lot of people complain that its not a "true" Souls clone, but that's just fine. The game is a little bit more "friendly" to the player by providing less unnecessary equipment, clearer objectives, and a tighter world.

Anyone who was frustrated by the Souls games or just wants a milder version for funsies, should check this out.

Pretty fun game but holy cutscenes.
