Probablyy one of the certified GOTYAY (Game of the Year for All Years).
(+) Improved combat - the improved master strike is very good and made group combat doable compared to the 1st one.
(+) Side quests are treated just like main quests. No dull moments, even the most mundane tasks in KCD2 felt like an adventure.
(+) Random encounters were also treated as a very significant part of the game.
(+) Players were also given multiple choices when handling quests and didn't handhold you with specific quest markers. Especially that in this game, they expanded a lot on stealth. ( so make of it what you will, i'm not gonna spoil you)
(+) Armor choices were also expanded a lot that gave you a look of a knight.
(+) The optimization is also so good probably because they opted for the CryEngine; Unreal Engine is poop and devs should stop using it, this game is proof. The game is beautiful without sacrificing performance.
(+) Mod support.

(-) The only gripe I have with this game is that the players were given a choice to romance Hans which is so (((weird))) in all levels. I get that it's optional but having it there as a possibility completely ruins their whole brothers-in-arms relationship.
