Chivalry: Medieval Warfare! So, what's the deal?

Chivalry: Medieval Warfare is a great medieval game, but it's certainly not a game suited for everyone.

I will mostly be discussing the game's combat system, as I feel that it's the most important topic of the game.

Most importantly, the combat is fun. The combat system in the game, is very deep and may seem tough to learn. Many players enjoy this deepness, but it frustrates even more.
For a new player, it's almost impossible to beat a single opponent in a regular duel server.
This is caused by the very skillbased combat system. As many others have said, the game has a huge skill gap because of this. Players don't stand a chance to survive, unless they've spent hours, perfecting their skills, learning drags, rainbows, waterfalls, aswell as other advanced skills.

Personally I love these skillbased features, but most people won't have much fun practising, if they get slaughtered a thousand times on their journey.

For those interested in to comunity, it's a mixed bag. Many players are knights of honor, but there are also a bunch of filthy, toxic barbarians. I'm sure everyone will fit in just fine.

So, is it a good game?
Yes!

Should I buy it?
Only if you don't care about losing a major part of the game, or if you have the dedication to become a true warrior.
