I went into this game expecting a souls-like and experienced Lies of P combined with Nioh with a touch of Wukong.

Look past the first hour or so of the game and this is easily GOTY for me so far, the graphics are great, doesn't run like sap trying to escape a tree (cough cough wilds cough cough) and for once, the skill tree is done correctly.

This game is *hard*, however if you've beaten Lies of P or have playtime in Sekiro, you'll eventually just kill bosses after the first 10 tries as this game is the most lenient souls-like I've ever seen.

Bonfires next to boss doors, free Lacrima (Souls) if you fail a boss and telegraphed boss move-sets makes this game incredibly hard AND easy at the same time.
