10/10 PTSD Experience

This game is basically unplayable in it's current state on PC (at least for me) as it crashes literally every single game. I have yet to finish a mission or even level up/gain XP because I literally cannot stop crashing out of the game within the first 5-10 minutes of the mission. I tried every "fix" recommended by any source and it still happens.

I'm not sure if it's related to RTX cards or something else in my specs, or the game itself, but I see numerous other reviews complaining about crashes as well.

Even though the game's optimization isn't great and the price tag is relatively high, I would recommend picking up this game if you have even a slight interest in military simulation style games. Very easy to get into, good community, solid gameplay. Worth the $50, and even better if you catch a sale.

Pros:
Intense realistic gameplay, strategic thinking and communication, mostly good community, dedicated servers with strict rules and admins make it hard to get trolls. All around good time and better than most shooters.

Cons:
Poorly optimized, if you get a largely inexperienced team it will most likely be a blowout if the enemies have a good amount of hours in the game, can be intimidating to get into especially if you get thrown into an SL role and you're brand new with no choice. Hit reg is awful sometimes.

This game is really good, especially for the price. If you're anything like me, you may be hesitating on this game based off the reviews alone. I don't believe the people who wrote negative reviews understand the game or the point of CHALLENGE in video games. I'll start off by saying if you do plan on playing this solo, I would pass. While it is definitely doable and can be enjoyable, I think as a whole you'll see the most value out of Co-op. As for the negative reviews dogging the game for difficulty, this game isn't just stupidly hard to the point of unfairness. It can feel frustrating when you get bad RNG or an unlucky fight/situation, but for the most part the edge of this game is the actual, genuine learning curve and challenge you're presented with. It was refreshing to be challenged by a game to the point where I stopped and asked my friends "What the ♥♥♥♥ are we doing wrong? How are we 30 hours in and STILL haven't killed Fenrir?"
I think this game is worth every penny of $20 and if you have even one other person to play with it is enjoyable and you'll spend a lot of time discovering the game as you go and learning the hard way, but it feels rewarding when it finally clicks. I've finally beat Fenrir in saga mode, which is why I wrote this review. If you're on the fence about this because the negative reviews make it seem completely broken and unenjoyable and stacked against you, go ahead and pull the trigger on the purchase. If you enjoy actually playing games and not getting your handheld like a little baby, you'll find Tribes of Midgard fun. I hope this game continues to grow and provide for the community it has.

I actually can't ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ fathom how bad this game is, they took the core of a great game and absolutely ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ruined it by complete negligence. I've never seen a sadder excuse for a video game in my ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ life, here's what Counter-Strike is nowadays

You pay 15 dollars for a great ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game, a beautiful game that has built up one of, if not the greatest e-sports scenes around to this DATE, but then you aren't actually allowed to ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ play it in its built in multiplayer function because of how many cheaters there are, i've been every rank from GN3-LEM and every other ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ player is a cheater, and what makes it worse is they are all closet cheaters, it wouldn't even upset me if they were spinbotting so i could just graciously accept the loss and move on, it's the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ closet cheaters who make you think you are trash because they are annhilating you but in reality you watch the demo and witness blatant ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ aimlock, these kids will never be ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ banned, at least not in my lifetime, ive literally played with kids who have SCREENSHOTS of their custom clients on their profile who spin bot with ZERO ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ penalty.

Valve care so little about every aspect of this game other than revenue it's disgraceful to even list this as a game on the steam store, the lack of thought and care regarding vac is almost impressive, if you want anything close to a decent experience you have to pay for ESEA (Which I do) but that isn't the point, it's the fact that between constant cheaters, bad hit reg on ♥♥♥♥♥♥ models, and terrible 64 tick worthless servers make the game unplayable thats the point, you cant even enjoy one of the best games to ever exist because the lack of care and polish, it's depressing


Every time I open this game I die a little more inside.
