great game with great dev support.

a very good game with great mechanics and an amazing vibe. however it does have problems and crashing, also very little content for the price.

murder simulator

a very in depth game that takes a long time to learn without a tutorial.

i got 2 hours into a campaign, then despite me turning off autosaves i cant backup any because it autosaved my death. ♥♥♥♥ this game.

It took a game that was gritty and brutal and turned it into a children’s cartoon with playful colors and cartoon violence. Even the levels aren’t gritty anymore. Glory kills don’t have the brutality to them anymore with the introduction of the wrist blade, the widely shown off flamethrower is honestly just a lighter with a hair spray can. They added a colorful twist to the game by making the ammo different colors even though your character just absorbs all of it and you can pick and choose what you need or want and all it does is detract from the nitty gritty feeling that the first game had. And with the reduced amount of ammo the game gives you you would expect melee to be a useful thing right? No, not anymore. The doom slayer which can rip the horns off of satan himself can only throw the punch of my 13 year old sister. It literally does do damage and only knocks back the enemy for a brief moment which isn’t even useful because you are going to be dealing with 30+ enemies very quickly

and the tacked on battle mode is crap because everyone just picks the instant victory combo of mancubus and revenant. it always ends in a clean sweep 3-0 demon victory.

The new parkour system just keeps me from enjoying the game, I literally got stuck in one spot because I couldn’t figure out the way forward without looking up a guide.

All in all it’s worth a play, but it’s not more of the doom 2016 you love.
