A mediocre game overall. The skill system is nice but doesn't matter much for most of the game. The best part of the game was the last section before the final boss. Some fights actually required some effort and skill choices mattered to some degree.

Comparing it to the original, this is definitely an improvement. I tried to finish the original many times and never could because I lost interest. I wouldn’t recommend the game to anyone except for those who want to have some mana series nostalgia.
