I'm not going to change my review just because there is still a lot of good in ASTRONEER, but the new updates are genuinely disappointing, every single one of them adding more cosmetics to the shop and not introducing much to make the core gameplay more fun. Every update in the past couple months just adds more content to make the game exponentially easier, I don't feel like I'm limited to my tethers, oxygen, and low power anymore, it just rewards you too much.

Good game, very peaceful.

There is only 3 problems I have with the game.

Here is my short explanation:
Optimization problems
Buggy Physics
Expensive Microtransactions (it doesn't effect the game and is simply there to help support the devs)

Here is my long explanation:
Optimization is a little all over the place, being good in certain places and being really bad in others, it reminds me of The Sims 3. You can't play on a single game save for too long because the bigger the file size is, the more lag you experience. Every game save is a ticking time bomb with a timer that is based on your computer specs. The biggest game save that I have is ~50mb and I get around 10-25 FPS.

Despite all of that, from what I've seen, the physics are really optimized. You can have hundreds of physics objects sitting around without impacting performance. The physics does have a big down fall, it fails to stay in sync when playing online, randomly having objects go flying into orbit or being forcefully thrown into the ground, causing you to be stuck in a cave.

I was a little disappointed when the Automation Update came out and they didn't add any new end game content. I was hoping to be able to unlock the Frame Suit via doing something special with automation but instead they decided to make it a 20$ microtranstaction for a single suit. This is just a small grudge that I have with the game that I'll probably get over pretty soon. I'm just happy that it doesn't really effect gameplay. It's actually probably a good thing it's there, it's just another way to support the devs.

Okay game good, I didn't pay attention in English class so enjoy my grammatical problems that I'm probably not going to fix in this review. I also didn't really state that many good things about the game and I don't really have much of an excuse other than I wanted to complain.
