The setting is great (pre-End Times) and the faction balance in SP is pretty decent. You can play on a difficulty that suits how serious you want your army building to be. I personally love this game and find it fun from turn 1 to the end of the campaign. It has a lot of replayability and plenty of mod support. I hardly ever encounter bugs (maybe 2 in a 200 turn campaign).

The only downsides I can think of are High performance requirements for larger battles at higher graphic qualities. Also the Diplomacy isnt the greatest, but thats kinda standard for total war. Additionally there is a high cost to entry so I would try to get it cheaper somehow when you start off. (though I think that the price of the games and DLC is actually worth it even at full price)

Show your support for Fantasy Warhammer! The unloved, disgraced and abandoned setting that was overshadowed by 40k. :(

Good game unless your game crashes while you are playing it. In that case it will wipe all your progress for no reason.

Worse Fortnite. If you are thinking of buying this game, go play Fortnite. PUBG has ♥♥♥♥♥♥ devs, poor optimization, lag, random bugs and framedrop, gamebreaking bugs (like armor not working), and finally a gameplay experience of looting for 5 minutes, walking for 20 then dying in 1 shot to the guy behind you.

Fortnite offers an experience all PCs can run, has much better graphics, more interesting gameplay, devs that clearly communicate and care about the game, support of a triple A company.

Ultimately it is subjective, but I HIGHLY recommend you try Fortnite first, since its free

UI is vastly inferior to previous incarnations. Large, empty maps with uninspired design. Horrible missions and objectives like "Survive". If you liked previous Total War games, this game still might not be right for you. Not worth 20 dollars, not even worth 10.

Worst DLC I have ever played in my entire life. Horrible, do not play. Bad AI Pathing. Horrible and forgettable characters. Unrewarding questlines and exploration. Unexciting Enemies and horrible "jump puzzles" to eke out greater playtime length status.
