Its like FTL, with a Stellaris skin and an intuitive/competent VR interface. you're managing a battlespace from a fixed perspective, so its not like sitting on the bridge, but its still a fun little game.

i want to like this. its competently put together, the animations are good and the story and campaign layout are promising.

Each mission is just clunky to work through and your Grey Knights behave and take damage more like the cultists they usually face on even terms than the space marines they're supposed to be. Seriously, random cultist does almost as well against power armor with a piddly stubber as a grey knight storm bolter into his face. For non-40k players, a GKs power armor should be virtually immune to stubbers, where a single bolter round should chunky salsa most of a torso.
