I don't know why this game gets as much hate as it does.
PLEASE NOTE THIS IS MY OPINION!!
The parkour in DL2 is definitely LEAGUES better than DL1, at least now. I love all the different abilities and sliding is so much more fun in this game, and I am a sucker for sliding mechanics. The combat is kind of iffy for me, the human combat is noticeable better that DL1's, they feel a little more able but definitely feel less human than in DL1. Now the zombie combat is a bit more heavy in DL2 and requires a bit more brainpower, the exaggerated and controllable zombie combat of DL1 is much more fun in my opinion. The graphics and gore are definitely way better than DL1 but that feels unfair to compare in the games because of their age difference. The story and choices-matter system feel fine to me, I don't find myself engrossed in the story but I don't think it's bad in the slightest. The side quests don't feel all that special and sort of feel like a chore but tbh I felt that way about the first game too, but it's definitely more ridiculous in the second game because of the story lock-outs. I legit had to use a guide to tell me when every side quest became available so that I could do it when it arrived before starting the next story quest. But that's all I got to say, I don't see why so many people have such an issue with this game.

I'm lonely and have nobody to play coop with but it's great

It's okay-ish so far. Only complaints is it's terrible optimization (played it with the recommended graphics card and hardly got 60fps at low settings), painful dialogue, and repetitive gameplay. You can definitely tell it's not as in dept as Borderlands 3 but if you want a slightly different style or are just a fan of the Borderlands franchise go ahead, I've got nothing to prevent you from buying it, it's not all too bad. Side note: if you're looking for a game to play coop with just get BL3 cause it does not work.

I could NEVER recommend this game enough, this game deserves all the praise it gets and more. Also screw jambalaya

What the hell is this Battle Royale ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥? There's no skill to it just luck, you don't get your skills, mayhem modifiers, guardian rank, or your gear. All of this mixed with a painstakingly tedious achievement and DLC exclusive legendaries that are physically impossible to farm and don't even drop half the time just makes this whole experience miserable.

More research and information has been spread about the EULA, I now believe that this is a game to play at your own risk. There's no real reason to flag the EULA or Borderlands franchise as malicious at the moment.

Do what you will with this, just be cautious.

Other than that, it's a solid and fun game.

An amazing game with a great story, characters, diversity, and humor. But was completely ruined for me after my friend restarted the checkpoint after I won the final fight (Still recommend it though)
