Game starts off quite slow, but it finds a lot of ways to reel you back in for "just one more replay."

By the time you've come to your senses and decided to take a break from playing, you've already unlocked an array of characters, weapons, upgrades, and game mechanics for future play sessions. And you'll find out that there's still more that you need to unlock. Way more.

Even though the game looks super generic, visually halfhearted, and has no real writing whatsoever, none of that matters, because the viciously addictive gameplay trumps all of those marks. It's a really great break from all of the boring and rehashed games that've been pumped out in recent times.

There's pretty much no hand-holding and it's insanely easy to learn things along the way on your own. It's absolutely bonkers how easy it is to get sucked into this game.

Hell, this game costs less than half a day's worth of food.

Quitting drugs would be less of a challenge.
