More so Rant With a Bit of Review

The game isn't too bad, if you are looking for something to scratch the horror/creepy, Rust, The Division, and shooter genre itch. Then this is the game for you, and at the very least worth a try. It has it's ups and downs like any other game out there, For now i want to focus on the stuff I think needs some work and how I feel about it.

Cosmetics/shop:
The cosmetics are one of the topics I've seen mentioned quite a lot. I have to agree with most the comments out there in the reviews.
Thankfully they are listening to the players and have made some changes regarding account bound cosmetics instead of character.
Along with this I would love for them to make all cosmetics obtainable through some means in the game.
Farming in dungeon/boss areas doesn't seem like a bad way to go about it.

**Now the main issue I also have with the shop, why are you guys charging close to $50 usd for a bundled cosmetic pack!?
That's absurdly high for a pack that just changes the look of your base here and there. This is why I highly suggest people bring this up more often and complain about it! (if we don't, this will become the standard practice).

Now don't get me wrong I understand they made a game free to play, nothing wrong with that. I also understand they need to make money somehow. The cosmetics are a decent way to do it! At the end of the day it should not cost that much, and most other titles don't even charge that high of a price fro similar things. My suggestion is to lower the price and make it $15-$20 somewhere in there. I think that is fair and worth it at the end of the day. Make things affordable for everyone not just a select few who can drop that kind of money.**

Combat is lacking:
it's not super engaging, i can stand and wipe out most the enemies i come across with a crossbow lvl5-lvl25
I've not had tons of fun with the other weapons other than the typical meta weapons everyone is using.

Weapons need work:
Overall i feel that they have a good direction, but some of the weapons just feel weak for what they can be doing.
For example the smgs use a little under a mag to a mag for some enemies. I've just stopped using it and went to the sniper instead. pistols, shotguns, lmgs, and assault rifles feel the same as I mentioned above with slight variations to them.

Inventory and Items:
Needs some work, you go around picking up everything you see and eventually your going to have a hard time finding the things you need like health/food.

Add a search bar in the inventory, make it where if i type a keyword in highlight the box it's in at least.
Another tab for recently discovered items would be nice. Can be based off the time it was found withing a 10min window or something.

The dropped items are also a bit of an annoyance to some degree. Would be nice if i clicked on a item and it looted items in a nearby area, instead of clicking each one individually. Or change it so when we walk over items it's added to our inventories instead.

Deviants:
These are interesting, and I actually don't mind them. I especially think the use of them at your base is a good idea. Anyway I can automate a task and come back later to some goods is a plus in my book. So please keep adding more deviants like that.

The "Digby Boy" deviant
one thing I would like to see, let them pick up gravel please.
Like I feel this was an oversight and someone just forgot to add it to the list.

Another feature you can add to these guys are filters, let us filter a type of ore for them to focus on at the expense of added time or something, but that feature would be greatly appreciated.

All in all the game has potential and it's for sure a good way to keep yourself busy. Hopefully this helps some people out, and gives them an idea of what to expect.
