If you don't play this game, there's something wrong with you. This game is one of the BEST games I have ever played, and everyone else should play it too.

EDIT: I'm coming back to this review to update it with my current thoughts on the state of the game. I wrote my initial review for Team Fortress 2 back in 2012. Nine whole years ago. And in that time, so much has changed, and not all of it good, as much as I hate to say it. The development team for the game has allegedly sized down to the *single-digits* at the time of writing, and it's showing with how large updates have been so spaced out (Jungle Inferno was *four years ago*), and Casual Mode is still riddled with bots. Yes, the Bot Crisis is still going on, sorry to say.

Despite all of this though, there are still things about TF2 that bring me back to it. Potato.TF's custom MvM campaigns being one of those things. I played Hexadecimal Horrors with my friends on the last day before it ended, and it was the most fun I had with the game in a long time, especially with one mission being a big fat tribute to Rick May, the late voice of the Soldier. I as well as many others miss him, and it warmed my heart to experience such a tribute for myself.

The TF2 community has stayed as strong as possible despite the issues plaguing the game, but those problems are still there. I love this game to the moon and back, but there needs to be changes.
