I---like everyone--- have broken God's laws (lying, stealing, lusting, idolatry). And since God is just and must eventually rid the world of evil, I deserve hell. But He is also merciful and loves us and provided a sacrifice in His Son Jesus Christ who lived a sinless life and died and took the full wrath of God the Father in dying on the cross. He died in place of those who would believe in Him and turn from their sins. I believe Jesus was raised from the dead 3 days later. This shows that He is God, that His sacrifice was accepted, and that people who have put their trust in Him will also be raised from the grave and given eternal life with Him when He comes again to judge the world. So our sins are traded for His righteousness. We cannot earn heaven and it is only by these means that we will be saved. He wants you to know Him. HE LOVES YOU. :) God bless you
