A very enjoyable free-form survival game experience with a lot of game modes and regular updates. Recommended.

An enjoyable story-based game with some excellent story points and decision-based actions that have not been seen in many games before it. There seems to be weight behind every decision you make as not only does your family's lives depend on you but so does that of your whole kingdom. I wished there were some more quality-of-life features that made some of the information more clear but overall it has a great story and enjoyable gameplay. Recommended.

I'm quite disappointed in this game, as I am a fan of Double Fine and followed this project closely.

The story and writing is boring, the voice-acting is poorly done, the puzzles are tedious, and the music and sound is subpar. I was moderately interested in the first half of the game but it got much worse from there with the final puzzles and story completely falling apart into stale gameplay and yawn-inducing story beats.

I recommend skipping this one and playing something else from Double Fine Studios.

As is common with many of Quantic Dreams' games, Heavy Rain is a mostly interesting, interactive, unskippable cutscene with great concepts, but is also deeply flawed by atrocious controls and game breaking bugs that had me wanting to stop multiple times throughout the experience.

Occasional crashes and bugs might make you repeat long sections of unskippable and tedious scenes; but even if you don't encounter something so severe the entire game is filled with horrible control schemes that don't always register inputs, are rarely actually visible on screen (being hidden off screen or behind a character), and do not communicate actions properly; however most incorrect inputs won't matter anyway due to the lack of affect they have on the overall scenes.

The story is often exciting and interesting to watch; and the acting, visuals, and animations pushed the boundaries of videogame technology when originally released in 2010 on the PS3; however, compared to modern games most of the presentation appears outdated.

I recommend watching a playthrough online if you want to experience the story, rather than suffering through its many shortcomings by having to play it yourself.

An amusing short (~30 minutes) "game"/presentation, designed for the Steam Deck but still fun to play on a PC.

If you enjoy toilets, guns, and Portal; you'll enjoy this.

It seems to utilize the Source 2 engine. It ran well on my average laptop (1080p, 40-60fps with a 4GB Video Card, 16GB RAM, 2.7GHz Processor).

An incredibly vast game that continues to get great updates and free content add-ons. Hello Games has earned my respect for continuing to improve No Man's Sky after initially failing to deliver on their many promises.

The game itself is a lot of fun and the exploration and light combat aspects are highly entertaining. With all of the new content dropping regularly it's hard not to revisit it from time to time.

If you like to explore beautiful new worlds while constantly collecting and upgrading your gear, ships, and bases, then this game is for you.

SoulCalibur VI, like its predecessors, offers an amazing fighting game experience with top-notch graphics and wildly fun gameplay that allows beginners to pull off some great looking moves and combos, while offering more advanced players a wealth of options to mix things up and counter most attacks.

Both story-modes offer a lot of fun content overall, but do seem outdated in their presentation when compared to other fighting games such as those from NetherRealm Studios.

One of my favorite things about SCVI is the deep character creation option; of which I've spent many hours in creating and tweaking custom characters.

Disappointingly, the online community is lackluster, even with the recent release of Season 2 Content, but as with most fighting games, playing 2-Player against a friend using the same screen is the recommended way to play and is loads of fun.

Another thing to note, this game can be very expensive if buying the Game and the Two Season Passes separately. I hate Paid DLC overall but most games are doing it nowadays (fighting games especially) and I can understand some of the good reasons (as well as the bad) behind implementing it. Overall the value of the game compared to the cost is mediocre at best, especially when bought at full-price. I bought the Game+Season Pass 1 Combo at a large discount and am still waiting for Season 2 to go on sale before I buy it, but I do plan on buying it because of the additional characters and create-a-character additions. Purchasing the game at a discount along with Season Passes is recommended as many of the characters are only available as DLC and can be expensive if bought individually at full-price.

Although having room to improve, I believe SoulCalibur VI, with the Story-Modes, Arcade-Mode, Multiplayer, Museum, recent updates, and more, has a ton of great content that will give any fighting-game fan a lot to enjoy for hours on end and is a worthy entry into the SoulCalibur series.

This game is overrated by nearly every measure.

The Haunted Island is not a horrible game, but neither is it a good one.

The dialogue can be mildly humorous but the plot, design, graphics, gameplay (or lack thereof), audio, load times, etc. are all subpar. The entire game is amateurish and might have been more enjoyable as a simple animation. Some of the simple dancing animations were amusing in the game.

99% of the game consists of reading some mildly amusing text, walking to a character, reading some less amusing text, waiting on a load screen, picking up an item and then walking to another character and repeating this until the 45 minutes is up. It's extremely shallow in both the gameplay and in the main feature, its story.

I completed the game in less than an hour and unlocked all achievements and saw everything there was to see. The time required to experience the game is the main positive point for me.

If you have young children or are able to get the game for free, it might be worth downloading; but there are so many other better games with better stories that I would recommend before this one.

An excellent sci-fi puzzle adventure. I really enjoyed the story and the puzzles in the game, some are very clever but were never too hard to become frustrating. A thought-provoking story about human intelligence, artificial intelligence, and morality. Simple but shiny graphics. Took me about 5 hours to 100% at a moderate pace. A bit reminiscent of Portal 1 and 2; but on a much more serious note. Well worth the price of admission.

Early Access Review
I've had a lot of fun with this game so far. The player-base is growing and it's definitely an enjoyable experience when playing with others.

The concept, mechanics, and overall gameplay is simple; but the game shines in its intriguing social aspects.

The 3D design and camera work could be improved, but the card artwork is excellent.

The sound is good and the atmospheric music, along with the announcer's voice, adds to the overall experience.

It took me about an hour to understand most of the basic cards and rules; understanding how everything works together and the various roles is part of the challenge but I think it also adds to the enjoyment. I was a bit confused at times on what my role was and how I should react in certain situations, but that encouraged me to try to be creative when I was challenged on my identity. There's plenty of helps available but just joining in with others is a good way to help you get a crash-course in learning the basics.

Get some friends together and play a few hands, you're likely to have a good time.
