After a hard 8 hour working day its perfect for free your mind. Just forgot everything and turn your brain off. Good for escape the reality and go into an second life. I would recommend it everyone.

Most boring game i ever played. Nearly fall asleep during the tutorial.

Funny game. For my surprise it take 14 GB of space. Just a bit weird why it cant go into fullscreen mode. My first impression of the game is good. For an free to play game is that great. Since it's an MMO the game save automatically, which is great. One can just close the game, and continue where one left it next time. maybe the story has some sense of humor i not understand, but it feels OK. One can even disable the cutcene completly if one want.

The game take to long to load and the fight system is horrible. I don't like the system where one have to press non stop left click to fight. They should have make that more comfortable. Also is there no spint option to run faster. The movement speed is too slow in my opinion. I also not like that Origin is required to launch the game, and one are forced to install it, even though one just want start it directly. It also seems to be very heavy on the CPU, since my computer make very lound sounds when run the game. One can even not run the game in offline mode, since its connected to Origin, and the Origin launcher require Internet connection. The game price is also way too high.

It gives 4x 7 Day Premium Tokens, which has to be activated manually one by one. Tokens are displayed as coins in the game. One Token has multiple effects like for example one month construction loop, where you can loop up to five building at the same time. But it also reduce the waiting time on research technology and it include offline features like auto trade, auto scout, auto attack, auto recruits and vacation mode where you can't be attacked by PvP. But it also has some special features like additional village information that normally is not displayed, and it also includes additional trade options.

This starter package is limited to 1x each account. This is due to the so-called "exclusive card packs". The virtual cards packs are displayed as materially booster packs. As an explanatory example has each pack 5 random cards in it. But the special part is that there are seven different standard types of packs. And there are additionaly to the seven standardly two pack types which are exclusively only availabe with this DLC. That's why they make this limitation.

The game has an cards system where you get an free card after an time interval of an consisten period. Each card has an own number of cards points. For example an bad card has 5 points, while and good card has 20 points. This card can be crafted 5 by 5 for cards point, which can be used to buy other cards in the card marked after points value. And this starter package gives additional 200 card point in the beginning, that can be used for whatever cards you want.

Summarized in my eyes are the Premium the most useful, because of the buildings loop that save a lot of time. Especially in the start phase of a new village, where you have only limited peace time before PvP is activated. Personally did i try play non commercial two times, but was loose my town and had to start it all over again. So even as an Stronghold expert is there no chance to bypass the pay requirement. For non-payer would i not suggest this game.

Edit: I played on the world Global Conflict 5. But unannounced they closed the world. So the DLC is not well invested after all. I'm an Stronghold Veteran who own every single Stronghold game with multiple version. And i would put this game on the bottom of my Stronghold list. There was an in-game building called "quarters" which are only presence in Stronghold Kingdoms and no other Stronghold game. This is one of the badest feature. And also that one can't Micromangment army, and they only auto attack is very lame. Not worth playing it.

The reviews for this game are unfair. It deserve more acknowledgement. It's awesome that it exist an Online Game for HoMaM. I'm an big Heroes Fan and very excited to share my positive review. It's frustrating if you not know how to fix the Flash Player issues, but i have uploaded an Steam Guide on how to fix it. Most reviews are just based on this, and that's entirely superficial. It should not be take as granted that an Online Version for the favorite game exists.

The music is epic. You can listen to it for an long time without get tired. It is a long-term game and a patience game. The game has an level-based ranking system, where better equipment can be buyed at the marked, with gold that has be collected at the map. When it goes deeper into the game, you have to pay to get progress. Some items can only be purchased by real money. But anyways it's cool with guilds, team fights, and especially the Graphics Artwork and music are an big thumbs up.

Even though the Game Shop stopped working for a couple of year, is the gameplay easy to manage, and the Shop Items is mostly useless and not give an such big advantage. For example irrelevant items like skins or pets, that can be purchased just for fun, and are not story-relevant for the game progess. Those items does not have an such big impact. So you can without any disadvantage ignore them.

What i like about this game is that the creatures/monster respawn on the same point. And also some of the side quests can be regain. Anonther great point of the game is that there are quests where you can win XP without fighting. For example by collect items in the forrest for the alchemist, or by send Level Congratulations to your friends. So if you think the monsters are to strong for you, there is some other ways to gain the experience points. Also are there statues/shrines, who temporary increase attack bonus, which can be revisit once or twice the day.

It's sad that the game is not been updated for a long time. Which means no new quests, items and creatures. But anyways does it has like 4 or more chapters you have to reach one by one. You can play for weeks the first chapter, before you even reach the next chapter. So about gametime can't be complained. Most complains is due to login issue, Game Shop issue and lack of support. But as an true Heroes Fan is it more than enough satisfying. I would suggest it to everyone.

12 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐲 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐠𝐚𝐦𝐞

1) It has no open land map like the previous Gothic games. Instead it has an one line map with no return possibility. That an big downside of the game.
2) It has not swimming ability anymore like in the previous Gothic games. You just straight die by go into the water.
3) It has not guilds ability anymore like in the previous Gothic games. Instead you can choose between three armors at one mile stone, and choose between another three at the next mile stone.
4) It has not skills ability anymore like in the previous Gothic games. As an example: You just have alchemy as an default skill instead.
5) The main charakter and the friends charakters like Diego, Xhardas, Milten do not have the same faces and look anymore like in the previous Gothic games.
6) You have no sprint ability anymore at all. In the previous Gothic games was forward move sprint (fastest), run (faster) and walk (slowest). Now it's removed sprint complety. The default movement is walking (slowest) instead of the default movement run (faster) like in the previous Gothic games. You can change the movement to run as default by edit the config file by follow my Steam Guide. But even with this trick is the gameplay very slow.
7) There is no Mods at all. You can't find a single Mod at the Internet for this game. Not even one. Only some small Graphic Mod on Steam is found. But on Google search results is it complety invisible. Also are the existing Mods so small that i would even not call it as Mods. Its just some small changes on the game.
8) Instead of call the Game Gothic 4 they called it Arcania Gothic 4. The title is placed in the front like its an complety different game.
9) The game has no balancing. At the start of an new savegame, do one already die at the first monster. Only with cheats is an playthrough possible without die every few moments.
10) The developer has divided. With the separation from Piranha Bytes was an big quality loss follow. It show how big PB's quality impact was for the game.
11) The game (especially the boss fight) has lack of creativity. It's very poor and does not satisfy claims.
12) The game charaker is not bold and tough anymore. Instead he is exhausting and make bad jokes. Also does he make an uninterested impression. It's supposed to be an adventure game. What adventure has lack of motivation? The charakter just cry all game long how he not want this adventure, and he not suppose to save the word, and that he missing his wife so much. Its just super obnoxious.

If i would suggest it? I would play it until the end of my life
