1. Gameplay: 9/10
This installment changed the franchise by: Perfectly balancing exploration, combat, and platforming. Survival aspects introduced through scavenging, resource finding, and crafting. Fluid gameplay from a well-done cover system to movement. However, some found the puzzles far too easy compared to previous titles. 2.

2. Story: 9/10
Everything you needed for an origin story for Lara Croft, emerging into her version of a young Vatican. Empathetic motives and emotional connections beyond treasure for self-gain. Only a few forgettable side characters.

3. Graphics: 10/10 Atmospheric gameplay via weather elements and lighting effects.

4. Sound: 9/10
Film quality score brings intensity to suspenseful and emotional scenes. Voice actors across the board are perfectly pitched, especially Lara, Camilla Luddington. Audio scape includes environmental sounds.

5. Replayability: 8/10
A comparatively large amount of collectibles, optional side tombs, and upgrades. Linear plot makes it easier/harder to replay depending on the person.

Final Grade: 9/10
The Tomb Raider reboot (2013) successfully brought new life to the franchise by concentrating on story with gameplay adjustments for a modern audience and exceptional graphics. The game welcomed new players while satisfying series veterans and established Lara Croft as an iconic character in video game history.
