Despite Funcom's flipping of the PvP dynamic of the Deep Desert, which left me very disappointed as a PvEvP enjoyer - the game, its features and mechanics are all round positive. Funcom must have dipped the game in spice, because there's something very addictive about its loops.

It's early access, but Fun Dog is onto something good here and, throughout EA, i'm confident they can make it great.

Clunky battlefield controls that can be improved. Convoluted UI. Lots of menu's within menu's. But these can be easily improved. This is the best 40k turn based game to date. VERY difficult. Future growth/DLC/multiplayer potential is huge.

Company of Heroes meets Dawn of War in a 1920's Dieselpunk RTS universe.

RTS isn't dead and KingArtGames has proven it with this immense title.

Kickstarted in 2018 and couldn't be happier with the result so far.

Disappointed they missed the mark with implementing Divisions and ranked leaderboards in time for release, but new Roadmap over the next 5 weeks outlines their implementation.

My biggest complaint with this title is the price. I feel it is too high for a relatively small Dev team / indie Kickstarter title and this will hurt its initial sales/player base, and i think if you're on the fence, wait for a sale/lowering of the price which i expect we'll see in the coming months. Nothing against the game, but clearly the Publishers went ham on pricing.

Game design that shakes up the slightly stale RTS genre. Fun and addictive multi-player, 'OK' Campaign that helps you unlock more rewards for your account globally, including Elites/XP/Portraits.

If you're a fan of competitive style 1vs1 RTS games with lots of skill-shots, micro and macro mechanics but more relaxed and epic team-games, DOW3 scratches that itch. Quite pricey, but welcome to AAA pricing.

I'm going to keep this short and sweet, as if i was writing what *i* would want to hear from an indie sandbox MMO review.

So here it is:
The game is solid. The combat feels solid. Movement feel solid. Mounts feel solid. Massive open world. Very minimal instancing. 3 Faction PVP. Deep crafting system. Lots of juicy skills to master. Dynamic / public quests. Rich loot system. Player housing and world building. Melee and ranged classes. Vehicle crafting and much more you'd expect from a modern sci-fi sandbox. The world actually feels alive and the lore is intriguing. Many Sandbox devs completely skimp on this area of development. In my opinion, a world without solid lore isn't a world i want to be in.

The game feels challenging with lots of paths worth investing in, as opposed to the multitude of games out there masquerading as MMORPG's when in reality they are nothing but a closed series of hoops to jump through while having your hand lead by the developers. Obviously it is in Early Access, it has some clunkiness to the interface and crafting in particular needs some refining, especially since it will play such an integral part to the game. You will need to work with other players in order to achieve big things as many of the craftable items require multiple components from multiple disciplines which would simply take too long to master alone. Good thing you can open up shop and sell your wares then huh?

It's been described as SWG meets UO (but i never played UO), to me its SWG meets Earthrise and i can't wait to get into the main release.

An excellent turn-based RPG/Strategy adaptation of the table-top Warhammer model Mordeheim. This game feels very atmospheric and true to the franchise, the art direction is suitably gritty yet gorgeous. That being said, the game does need some refinement - but thats what Alphas are for right?

The general flow of the battle can feel clunky at times, due to some small issues with pathing and combat initiation. Some turns feel a little awkward and slow as you control units with WASD and not with the mouse. Combat animations look good but lack variety. Spellcasters add an extra layer of strategy to your turns but lack battle presence and majesty. Granted i am not so familiar with the spellcasters of Mordeheim but i am very familiar with Warhammer Fantasy and the likes of the Bright Wizard.

Multi Player is where its at - if you can get a game going. Being Alpha, there are currently issues with connectivity, load times and the odd desync. I have played a few games and they were pretty awesome. The battles can take a while to get going as both sides map out their strategies and asess their opponents but once your Warbands collide the action picks up.

After some refinement, general optimization and tweaks to the flow and meta of Mordeheim i can see this becoming a *great* game. We have still yet to see the best parts too - looting, warband customisation, match making and unit progression. And im hoping the game files are moddable as this game will go down well within the modding community and Warhammer fans alike.

8/10.
