it's aight.

It's a very janky game, nearly all the physics objects feel like they're covered in vegetable oil, but i feel like to some level that's part of the appeal. If you have the patience for an unreal 2 game that's somehow less functional than postal 2 than go ahead.

A lot of the hypes overblown abt how bad it is, universal ammo at best only really means that any weapon will still have ammo drops at the end game, and at worst its an annoyance when you switch off your shotgun expecting to be able to use your pistol. Limited biomods are fine too, tho I never found a reason to swap off my existing mods using all the backlogged canisters, the mods I picked in Seattle felt like the bare necessities and I felt no drive to replace them.

The story is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ insane and I love it.

Buy it on sale tho, this thing goes for like a dollar at best during sales.

i can only judge from the position of episode 1 but so far its great, currently its worth the purchase for E1M8 alone.

the only complaints id give are that the rooftops seem a bit too easy to get lost in, and from what i can tell theres no quick last weapon switch bind (q in most games, but here it only opens the weapon wheel afaik.)

also rocket jumps do extremely low self damage and that makes me very happy.
