"PATROLLING THE MOJAVE ALMOST MAKES YOU WISH FOR A NUCLEAR WINTER."

NV for a long time was my favourite RPG, in a sense in Roleplay aspect its my favourite game, sadly the crashes with or without mods makes a tiresome gameplay nowadays. Regardless i had tons of funs with the game itself when as kiddo, growing up i noticed the subtle critics the game has for political issues in our society, so in my opinion you can enjoy this masterpiece from the gameplay alone or the story, also i love the dark humor and the radio songs which we find along the way. YOU NEED TO PLAY WITH WILD WASTELAND ENABLED, the games becomes much better, also more fun or with good references.

P.S : i think its shameful how obsidian made a more complete fallout in one year than fallout 4 will ever be. (like each gun with unique reloading animation... for start...from basic stuff to good storytelling FNV its better than 4 overall...)

P.S2: I can agree with the visions of most factions, but i truly despise NCR, House, Caesar even Yes man its better lmao. House would have the best ending in my opinion, as he's a true genius manager and visionary, in a more edgy run Caesar it's more fitting to lead Mojave than NCR will ever be, but as my favourite char Joshua Graham got trashed because of Caesar, i avoid this end. "We can't expect God to do all the work"

P.S3: I don't know why, but I had a weird bug with Steam Launcher not recording all my playing time with NV, my guess it was mostly because I played offline.

PROS
CONS
Story
Crashes
Tons of builds to do
Didnt aged well
Gunplay
A lil' buggy

8.7/10

@NeonGod nah, its okay, sharing one's honest thoughts it's good to start good conversations.

I do agree with you, jedi fallen order i slept three times because of the boring cutscenes..... Yakuza in another hand made me sleepless sometimes, but depends in my mood, i go from heavy RTS like total war, to more easy one like company of heroes, from heavy RPG games like pillars of eternity/divinity to more ARPG like souls or bethesda ones.

I just dont fit well with forced bad ends like Tlou2 or with meaningless horny/edgy games plot.(But like you said, to each their own).

@NightLizard Yeah the thing that I could like and that I don't judge because of having played enough is that the story is not through cutscenes as you said, since in today's gaming so many games are interactive movies, something that I don't like at all with some exceptions like Yakuza saga because of their really engaging story.

And the thing is more about what you said about that freedom, as I said i'm not into those cutscenes games and also not into really linear games where you can't decide anything; but those ones relay too much on do whatever you want or just mod it with whatever you like, and it's great to have those posibilities but at the end I feel like there is not a clear focus, too aimless in the line of do it your own, and also time consuming.

But anyways to each their own. Sorry for all this blahblah on your review lmao

@NeonGod, Skyrim, Fallout NV, oblivion, fallout 3 are good games of freedom+build making, you can be whoever you want be, or be no one special and just level up without doin' the story, Fallout NV its amazing with this, you can start the game as criminal with powder gang or a newborn hero courier, or just walk away from the issue, and most of the game you can do that, i even became a Leader for some small factions along the way.

Skyrim won me in freedom of exploration, also medieval setting.

But as the story you need to read the in game books/notes/terminals/dialogues instead of a cutscene/movies which new games have, maybe some people wouldnt reap a lot of the content the game has to offer(or like it)

The short straw like i said, the broken game in win10 becomes tiresome didnt had a lot of issues in win7 neither in xbox(played around 200hrs in xbox too).
