One... More... Turn...

Warning: Civilization V is highly addictive!

I've been playing Civilization V since it was launched many years ago. The game is excellent! Hard to write a proper review.

If you have already played any Civilization game, you'll feel basically at home with this one. There are a lot of nice new features like:
* The hex grid (instead of the old square one)
* Units cannot be placed on the same tile anymore, so you have to find a new battle strategy now
* City-States, which are independent small nations, which also offer new strategy for the long-time games

If you are new to the series, this an excellent but very complex game. You have a lot of variables to care, different victory types (better with the latest expansion). You can destroy every other nation, build the most advanced technology possible or even be a diplomat who conquers the game by the other nations's votes. My advice for you is: Start from the beginning, play easy games to get into the rules and progressively increase the difficult as you understand the game better and better.

Final advice if you're planning to buy: Get the complete/universal/don't know what they call edition, with both expansions, they add a lot to the game for a really nice price.
