I never really used a bunch of mods, but doing something like preventing people from using simple safety and/or accessibility mods without providing a in-built solution is a sick joke. It removes needed accessibility from the experience, and EAC is NOT going to fix the hacker/crasher problem in any capacity. It only negatively impacts people who needs such mods to be able to enjoy the experience. VRC is not a game, so stands no benefit from "anti cheat" protections. It's a VR based social media environment. Most of the *simple* crashers use known vulnerabilities in Unity to simply overload people's hardware and crash the game. A newbie avatar creator can even accidentally create a crasher avi by mistake, so its less a vulnerability and more a design failure, but that is beside the point.

Additionally, the devs targeting people making NSFW or other 3DCG content that VRC devs deem undesirable for bans is outright absurd. Dictating and policing someone's activities outside of the space is patently unacceptable behavior by the developer.

An agreeable solution would be for VRC devs to reach out to the modding community for help with such necessary features. The unilateral swinging of the ban hammer and nuclear option is embarrassingly short sighted. Even Blizzard allows you to mod WoW's UI to hell and back. The user is left with consequences if modding breaks the experience, and rightfully so, and the community, both WoW and VRC willfully accepted that risk. The mods in question have zero negative effect on other users, so there's no real excuse they can offer IMO.

My review will remain negative and I will not recommend people engage with VRC until the devs get a clue and correct this, frankly unacceptable, behavior.
