It's a space miner that treats the physics and systems as real as it can try. Breaking one asteroid apart and letting the pieces drift can cause whole sections of rock to move offscreen while you're busy scrambling for the pieces that are nearby.

Missing a shot and impacting an asteroid you can't see might cause a chain reaction that sends a large asteroid towards you that you don't even notice until it's a bit too close for comfort.

Power production, heat production, capacitor levels, fuel burn rate, and mass all have to be taken into account when building every ship, with every part you add multiple equations shift by minute amounts that can take your blazing hotrod and turn it into a Oldsmobile if you're not careful. Tuning lets you take parts that don't add up and level out usage, up power, decrease wear, increase angling, and adjust all the ways your ship flies.

And these aren't even the fun parts yet.
