Great for Early Access - witholding some bugs here and there, it's one of the better FPS/Strategy space games out there that actually need thinking and team work rather than reflexes to play well. No grind issues for ships and premiums dont have a single advantage over the regulars - just slightly more earnings and exp post battle. Definitely not a P2W, shows good promise - hope devs dont screw it up in the future.

Lets be honest. If you've played the classics, this is not the game to get (just yet, hopefully).

BUT. If you've never played HW before, this still blows competition out of the water.

Yes, there's alot to be done to make it like the beast it was. It's still a monster though, and one that is thoroughly enjoyable provided you aren't donning the colored glasses of a veteran.

Visuals are unrivalled whilst remaining visibly smooth on my 3 year old laptop/desktop screen crappy layout.

Tactics and formations are still lacking - micromanaging can be and was fun to me, but not to all... besides, whats the harm in bringing back old mechanics?

Bring back those game-changing, multitask demanding perks that made Homeworld the legend it was (and will be, hopefully). Otherwise it's a beast who's yet to mature in full.

Fun and challenging for Beta release, AI significantly improved and much tougher to defeat. Needs to patch on lag spikes and other smaller features (No pause, no overview of vehicle/building count, etc.) but otherwise surprisingly fun.

If you know what Beta means, it's a great game already. I own another beta game which has way less content and way more bugs and it's still great. Let it grow. So what if you get wiped? The fun is to relearn and adapt with new features and nothing is fun if you've got it all. Terreria was great, it took a long time to develop, and it's 1 world. This isnt. Give them some time, it's already way beyond the level some dev's release beta at. And if your computer is too crappy to load it, (it often guzzles 1 GB + of RAM and does hang my computer if I idle), too bad. Wait for it to get optimized, it's still worth it.
