It really did hurt

I gave up on this game after I realized how garbage it was. Most of my time spent playing it was during the game's time on BattleNet. But it was also one of the most fun games I've ever played.
Don't let it fool you, the game is fun, especially with friends. But an opinion I kept during my year of playing mostly d2 (year 2 to be exact) was that the game was bad. Bad in pretty much every sense of the word: connections (in PVP and PVE), the grind was awful, they killed the purpose of all year 2 and year 1 raids when they released shadowkeep, and then there's the PVP stuff. That is another beast in its entirety but I won't talk about it since I didn't play it enough to have a solid opinion.

TL,DR: Fun with friends and like minded people, but an undoubtedly lackluster, repitive and pointlessly grindy game.

Edit 27/08/2022: Haven't for the last two years but I've been paying attention to the content releases. Stop buying this game, stop giving Bungie money. Any type of content they put out does not justify the price hikes they have been doing. expansions used to cost 30€ and have the entirety of the released content; now, you buy the expansion for 50€ and only get the story and the raid. You have to buy the dungeon separately.

Very fun, an enjoyable game for those looking for a more long-running experience with an immense world and good battles

I was really skeptical when I heard about this game and that it was a game of psyhological horror, but after completing in one straight sitting, I realized why this game is so praised and how great it is.
It is something that I would never thought I would experience.
It is definitely an experience to be had.

It is a great realistic game, really strategic and demands coordenation with teammates.
Really fun and good to pass an half an hour from trench to trench.
Highly recommend it to anyone that likes shooters.
