This is my first game in the Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm-series (not counting a DS game that I have hardly played at all), and so far I'm not disappointed.

First of all, the praise:
- The battles are fun! This is my first 3D fighting game, and it feels kinda refreshing. The camera follows you around (almost) perfectly, even when there are four fighters on the field, and it just feels great zipping around at a ridiculous speed while trying to dodge those kunais flying at you, all the while trying to land that ultimate jutsu on your opponent.
- It looks great! When the game was released a lot of people complained about the game being "only 30 FPS." Well, that does not matter at all, at least not to me. It looks and feels like you're in an anime, which is what a Naruto game is suppose to be like.
- The "story modes" are pretty good. The first mode is the Ninja World Tournament, which is this fighting tournament where the main goal is to collect as many orbs as possible, gained by beating them out of your opponents. This mode can be pretty entertaining when you want some change of pace, although most of the side quests included in this mode feel a bit unnecessary. The other mode, which lets you play through a few short storylines including the Akatsuki backstory, are short but sweet. There really aren't that many fights included, but they are still worth a playthrough just for the awesome anime clips.
- The roster is huge. Most of the major characters are included, and although there will probably always be a character or two that you feel is missing, there are still more than enough characters to keep you entertained for a long time.
- The music/sounds/voices are great! All of the voice actors do a great job as usual, and although I wish some of the voices (young Kakashi/young Obito) had stayed the same as they were originally in the anime, that's just a minor detail. All in all i think the music and the sounds all do a great job of pulling you in to the world of Naruto.

My one and only complaint so far:
- The optimization is pretty bad. So far, I have not been able to run this game smoothly with all the graphic settings at max, although my computer should be more than capable of handling it. The game still looks pretty damn good though, so it's not something that bothers me that much.
- Okay, maybe one more small complaint. A few more moves wouldn't have hurt. Since the button combos are almost exactly the same for each character, adding a few more moves in there wouldn't have hurt.

All in all I really recommend this game to both Naruto-fans as well as fans of fighting games, as it's something a little different from all those 2D fighters out there.

PS. If you're game is not running smoothly, check which graphics card is set as your standard one. After I changed the recommended graphics card to my best one I was able to run the game more smoothly even with better graphics.
