Kingdom Come: Deliverance is a good game, but it's far from perfect.
I initially backed this game in 2015 because I like history and historically accurate stuff, so I have been anticipating it since then, although I wouldn't say I was hyped for it.

I like the world that Warhorse Studios has created. I like their characters, which seem to have good depth and voice acting (mostly) to me. The main quest drew me in and kept me entertained with its missions (mostly). The combat is nicely realistic and responsive (mostly). I 've also heard of a lot of game-breaking bugs, but I only had one that was fixed with a save reload. It's a unique RPG.

However, the side quests often bored me and when I got toward the end of the game, I didn't bother accepting them. A couple of the main quests are boring, too, such as the whole monastery part. Once you get levelled up, you become, in my opinion, too powerful because you can kill enemies far too easily. After all, only a few in-game weeks ago, you'd never fought with a sword.

Which leads me to my biggest problem: immersion breaks really easily. I'm the son of a blacksmith, but I can fight as well as trained soldiers and bandits after only a few weeks? I can suspend my disbelief for this, but the immersion breaking bugs can't be ignored like that. Model and texture loading seems to be a real problem in this game, and my computer is good enough to run the game without these problems. People look like potatoes a lot of the time. The screenshots below essentially show it all.

I really do like the game and will probably pre-purchase Kingdom Come 2, as I did with KCD. However, I think as a recommendation, it is better to wait 6 months/a year for all the obvious bugs to be patched out.
