Clicker, turns into a strategy layout game. Eventually turns into automation. Just because it does help to know what you're in for when you are looking at a game.

I think it's fun trying different builds and designs, which is unfortunate because reset/rebuilding costs time or resources. I enjoyed my time with it. Except hell cubes. They can go straight to... wait.

If you want more I made a video showing some gameplay. https://youtu.be/ABMmqaBZ3Kw

Voice acting is on point.
Other sound is above average, great.
Graphics are incredible.
Story is good. Has cool points, and gets better the further you go.
World is great, I mean I grew up with Faerun.

It is definitely not 5e dnd, loosely based off of it only.
It is sort of like Divinity Original Sin 3, but a less using the terrain.

It is definitely a great game though.

The game starts out with a simple system. Mine resources, and automate the small things like iron ore into ingots. Halfway through you realize you're expanding so much you've run out of space on the planet. You eventually realize you can expand onto other planets, and then other star systems, shipping goods to and from. Then near the end the scale of what you're building finally hits you. A sphere orbiting a star, with a diameter wider than the orbit of a planet, get's built by your factory and you can watch the pieces all connect. As you sit back in awe you realize... Moar!

The game is fantastic, simple in the beginning but builds up to complex concepts near the end. If you are into factory builders, this game is capable of being enjoyed for hundreds and thousands of hours.

Visuals are 11/10, sound is a solid 9/10. Gameplay is great if you're into factory or base building. 10/10 in my opinion. It released in Early Access as a fully playable game, and has had many updates since with each one bettering the mechanics and optimization.

It doesn't need said. This game is amazing.

Obviously, it is a music based rhythm game. The songs that ship with the game are just kind of OK. They're made to be played, in this game, and the beatmaps (direction and flow of boxes you swipe through) are great for these. They also have some song packs that are dlc, but are worth it from a couple of artists that most people have at least heard of, from what I can tell. These are more challenging, and they've added other free custom songs as well. All of this is fantastic.

The visuals are appealing, and the game runs well. The sound is decent for the menus, and the songs are great regardless of what genre you are used to listening to. The gameplay is where Beat Saber really shines. It's curve of difficulty is done well, and you can see improvement in yourself from beginning to later on. I will say I do think it gets more fun as things get harder.

The only issue I have is with the community driven things, mods and modded songs for the game. I have not looked at or tried to get anything from the Steam workshop, but there are tons of resources, even discord channels, that let you get songs that are custom made from the community.

The problem I have with these is two-fold. The first being you've got some research into where you get the download, what mods to use, how to get them running, and the level of skill from the custom beatmaps creators. Some of the custom songs you get are really fun and done well, and some just get deleted rather quickly. Even being in sync with the song, some of the custom creations do not flow as well as songs that ship with the game. It can honestly be to the point that you delete the song and regret downloading it. On top of that, most of the time when the game updates, you've got to redownload the mods that you do have for it. As a casual vive player this seems a bit annoying.

Ah, but you don't care about the mods and problems I have with them. You care about the game in general as you purchase it. It's fantastic. Definitely one of the best purchases I've made for my vr headset.

Last point to put out there, in the vive homeroom, there is a list of the top most played single player games. Since it launched, Beat Saber has been on top, even above smash hit ports like Skyrim and Fallout 4.

Would buy again, and definteily recommend.

I love this game, a bit of that maybe nostalgia, as I played through years ago on the gamecube, but here we go...

The graphics are actually alright even considering it's age. The style makes it hold up pretty well.

The sound is used well to create mood for certain areas, but it is similar to fantasy rpg music of it's era.

The gameplay, including the menu and UI, does not mesh well with keyboard, but plug an xbox controller in and you'll be good to go. It is fun, but depending on how much you grind to overlevel, or avoid fighting, really makes the difficulty. Grind a lot, it's easy, grind less, it's harder. In summary though, the gameplay is action based, and is quite fun when you figure out the combo mechanics. Add in that you get a list of allies to experiment with, and can play local co-op with friends, and it's top notch.

The story, and characters are where the game shines. Running jokes, albeit simple ones, the characters and the way they evolve, it's all just done extremely well.

If you are the type of person to get immersed in the story of a world, I would definitely say this would be the game for you.

As a final note, this is probably one of my personal top 10 games of all time.

I loved this game. It's quite difficult in the beginning and it was fun challenging myself to that learning curve. The pause and play in combat, combined with the strategy, and micro-management areas made it fun for me.

The achievement system, and unlock system gives it a lot of replayability with different ships and versions of ships doing different things.
