Why I Would Make A Good Boyfriend!

Hi! :steamhappy: So, I’m writing this with the hope that you’ll hear me out. I get that a lot of people might make assumptions based on the usual “ideal partner” checklist...things like financial stability, a great body, hobbies, and so on. And I’ll be honest, I don’t exactly tick all the boxes. Actually, I tick none of them. But let me tell you, I’ve got something to offer that I think a lot of people overlook: authenticity, realness, and the kind of loyalty that goes beyond what you see on the surface. So here’s why, despite what might seem like “red flags,” I’m actually a great catch.

For one, I’m a big guy. Yeah, I’m fat. And I know that’s something that people love to judge. Society definitely doesn't go easy on people who don’t fit the mold of what’s “attractive.” But here’s the thing: I’m totally at peace with it. I love food, I love life, and I’ve learned how to embrace who I am. Honestly, I think it makes me more empathetic because I get that no one’s perfect. People have their own hang-ups, and I’m not about shaming someone for their body or the way they look. I’m more about acceptance and finding joy in the little things. You know, like a lazy Sunday with pizza and Netflix - it’s all about finding that sweet spot of comfort and connection.

And if you’re worried about physical intimacy, I can assure you that it’s not a problem. I’m all about making sure both people feel comfortable and wanted. The last thing I want is for anyone to feel self-conscious around me. So yeah, maybe I’m not the guy who’s out there hitting the gym every day (or at all), but I am the guy who’s not going to judge you for where you’re at, either.

Speaking of where I’m at, I’ll admit that I’m not exactly rolling in cash. I’m broke, and it’s not a fun reality to face. But I’m learning that money isn’t everything. I mean, sure, it’s important to pay bills and have your own space (which, to be clear, is why I live with my parents at the moment). But living at home isn’t a failure; it’s a way to save up and get my footing before diving into the world of full independence. I love my parents! They’re awesome, and I’m happy to help take care of them as they’ve taken care of me. It’s all part of building a strong foundation before I’m ready for a serious relationship. Plus, my situation has given me a different perspective on what really matters in a partnership. It’s not about what’s in your bank account, it’s about how you show up for the people you care about. I might not have a fancy car or an expensive wardrobe, but I’ve got time, energy, and a whole lot of heart to put into the right relationship. And I don’t need to be rich to make someone feel loved, supported, and appreciated.

Now, I won’t pretend I have a ton of hobbies or skills. I dabble redditing, but honestly, I’m kind of a gamer. It’s probably the one thing I’m really into, and I know that might sound lame, but hear me out. Gaming might seem like just a way to kill time, but it’s actually taught me a lot about strategy, patience, and even teamwork. If you’ve ever played a multiplayer game like Counter Strike: Source, Counter Strike: Global Offensive, or Counter Strike 2, you know how important it is to communicate, compromise, and keep a cool head under pressure. Those are skills that translate pretty well into real life, especially in a relationship. Plus, it’s fun! And I promise, I’m not just sitting in front of a screen all day. I have to eat, too! I know how to balance things.

About my hair...yeah, I’m balding. It's just part of life, and while it’s not my favorite thing, I’ve gotten pretty good at rocking it. Honestly, I think it adds a bit of character, and I’m not afraid to embrace it. If I’m being real, I’d rather be with someone who’s comfortable enough with themselves to own whatever life throws at them, rather than someone who’s obsessed with perfection. Confidence is way sexier than any hairline. Oh, and I guess I should mention that I do tend to be attracted to younger women. It’s something that’s been brought up before, and I get why it might raise an eyebrow. But for me, it’s not about just the physical side of things. It’s about the energy and perspective that younger people bring into a relationship. Honestly, I’ve always connected with women who are ambitious, curious, and open-minded. Age doesn’t define maturity or emotional depth—what matters is whether we can communicate and grow together. Relationships aren’t about age gaps; they’re about shared experiences and mutual respect.

So, to wrap this all up: I may not fit the mold of your typical "perfect partner". Yes, I'm fat. Yes, I'm broke. Yes, I live with my parents. No, I have no hobbies or skills. Yes, I'm balding. Yes, I'm only into young and barely legal women. But I am ALSO someone who’s deeply loyal, self-aware, and ready to build something real with the right person. I’ve got a big heart, a good sense of humor, and a commitment to making a relationship work...not just for the honeymoon phase, but for the long haul.

I may not have all the answers, but I know that I’ve got the right intentions. And isn’t that what matters most in a relationship? So if you’re looking for someone who’s genuine, emotionally available, and doesn’t take life too seriously (but still knows when to be serious), then I just might be the guy for you.

𝓖𝓪𝓶𝓫𝓵𝓲𝓷𝓰 - Actually Real Story That Happened To Me
May 21, 2025 @ 1:30 A.M.

Following 6 consecutive FACEIT Counter-Strike 2 matches, I decided to turn the game off and take a break. After closing the game, I opened discord to see two new notifications, direct messages from my good friend . He told me to hop on the game, and play with him and our mutual friend . As I join the discord voice channel, I notice they are both sharing their screens. As I open the first one up, I am greeted with the sight of an in-game inventory that has 20 cases at the top of the screen. I already know what's coming - gambling! So of course, I get excited and ask "How many cases?". The response: "How ever many I have the steam balance for." Cold. Inspiring, even.

As he buys the key for the first case, he "quick-opens" it (instead of watching the entire animation, he just skips through it to immediately get to the reward screen) and he drops a purple. Looking good, purples have around a 1 in 6 chance of dropping. Of course, he lost money off this first case, because the odds are not stacked in your favor. He opens his second case, and lets the animation go this time. Purple. Everyone's like "Dude, that's sick. That means a knife is coming!" Obviously, this is superstition, but it's still fun to joke around about. Third case comes around - purple. We're all in shock as this is a rare occurrence. Back-to-back-to-back purples has a roughly 0.4% chance of happening. We're all stoked, so with our faces glued to the screen, we watch as he opens yet another purple in a row. We are all dumbfounded. What's also crazy is that he is also losing money each time, but that's besides the point. We're in it to have fun. Right?

Fifth case brings a blue skin, and we're joking around about this being the "dip before the peak" implying he is going to get something really good. He was opening kilowatt cases, so the knife wouldn't be that good from it. However, he also likes the AK-47 | Inheritance that can drop as well, which is twice more likely than unboxing a knife. So, we slave away, and the sixth case brings, believe it or not, ANOTHER PURPLE! This is more puzzling than anything. It's nothing to go crazy over, since he's lost almost all of his money thus far, but it's still cool to think about.

The first friend tells us to look back at his screen. He has enough balance left for three keys. He buys the keys for his remaining cases, and opens them up in quick succession. The first two drop blues, and we all decide it's probably over. Last case drops him a Field Tested USP-S | Jawbreaker , a pink! Pink rarity skins have around a 3% chance to drop, so we were all stoked to see it. Everyone cheers and jokes that he finally made money off of a case. I decide to ask at this point, "Why haven't you guys asked me to open any yet?" I was met with jokingly annoyed responses that I should've been doing it with them already. I told them about my prior gambling habits (you can tell from the log size, I don't gamble. Ever.) I decided that today was the day I would break out of my shell, and drop some money on cases. I have a storage unit full of cases, and decide to open the ones which contain the skins I want the most.

I drop a whole $75 on case keys, opening my cases in quick succession in call. Blue. Blue. Blue. Blue. Not feeling good. Blue. Blue. Blue. Purple! Hey! I got a StatTrak Minimal Wear SG 553 | Dragon Tech . I check the price...$2.42 - didn't even cover the price of the key. Not feeling it at this point. How have I spent 2500 hours on this god forsaken game and I can't even drop a single pink? At this point, I've only ever opened like 20 cases, usually by selling other cases to afford the keys. But, alas, here I am with nothing to show for it. Surely I'm due for a good skin soon, right? I get back to opening cases. Blue. Blue. Blue. Blue. Blue. Blue. Extra sh*tty blue. I lose track of how many blues I get in a row before I ask the game, "𝐃𝐮𝐝𝐞, 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐟𝐮𝐜𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐦𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐞 𝐫𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐧𝐨𝐰?" I was definitely getting 𝚏𝚞𝚌𝚔𝚎𝚍 in the 𝚊𝚜𝚜𝚑𝚘𝚕𝚎, extra sexually. Anyway, I decide to switch up the strategy. The three of us hop into a casual vertigo game to open the rest of my cases. Certainly, we need to perform some sort of ritual to fix my luck, right?

First challenge: Flash two of my teammates with one flashbang, then get a scout kill, then kill myself ingame, then open a case. I succeed, and I open the case. Blue. It's alright, that was a warmup ritual. Second challenge: convince someone to jump off the map with me. I manage to get someone to come with me, parading for it to be some sort of a joke. This is no laughing matter. I am here to WIN! I open my case, and get a blue.

At this point, I'm spiraling. 𝙒𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙞𝙛 𝙄 𝙠𝙞𝙡𝙡𝙚𝙙 𝙢𝙮𝙨𝙚𝙡𝙛 𝙞𝙣 𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙡 𝙡𝙞𝙛𝙚?

Third ritual: Get one XM kill, then get 2 five-seven kills, then jump off the map while I open the case. Sure enough, I succeed after one attempt, and I manage to pull a BLUE! Awesome. I only have one more key to my name now, for the Dreams & Nightmares case, which has my favorite Exceedingly Rare drop from it - the Butterfly Knife | Gamma Doppler. The final ritual...get two people to sacrifice themselves, get two XM kills, then hit a one-deag, then open the case where I am standing. If this doesn't work, nothing will.

It starts well. My two friends in call both decide to sacrifice themselves in solidarity of my mission. Step one done. Then, I push up mid and meet 3 Terrorist opponents. I manage to kill 2 of them, but they fight back, leaving me at 5 HP. The third then dies to my teammate, who threw a grenade from A bombsite, bouncing it off the wall with perfect trigonometrical accuracy. Step two done, and I can re-calibrate myself. There are 2 enemies left, and their locations are unknown. I run down to B, since none of my teammates are there, and I stay vigilant not only to spot the enemies but to stay safe, because obviously the ritual won't work if I one-deag one of them and then immediately die while I'm opening the case.

I spot one creeping onto the bombsite, but he doesn't spot me, so I search briefly to figure out if I will be met with firepower when I one-deag the first player. Surely enough, he was alone. I peek out on the Terrorist on A-site, and whiff. I start frantically spraying my deag, in the hopes I headshot him. Unfortunately, I only hit two bullets into his body, rendering him one-shot to any deagle shot. I somehow get behind cover, so that I can reload. He knows where I am, and he's closing in on my position. I throw my XM to distract him, and peek out with the deagle in hand. As I peek, I find him right in front of me. He is basically inside of me at this point, and because I only ever aim at head level, I execute him. Cartel style. One-deag successful. Step 3 done.

Step 4, simplest, but arguably the riskiest: open the case standing exactly where I got the one-deag. I desperately look for the buttons to open the case. Yes, inventory, key, select, case, select, open, open to keep, confirm. As I fumble through the buttons, I hear the Terrorist running up the B ramp. I probably have 3 seconds before I get absolutely 𝚏𝚞𝚌𝚔𝚎𝚍. I perform the keyboard combination to quick-open the case.

Remember the knife I said was my favorite? The one I painstakingly held out hope for $70 into the session? The one I saved this specific case for last to have a chance at unboxing? The one I did a four-step murder-suicide ritual to unbox? Guess what.

I got a blue.
