It's been said that, were a person to approach a black hole, time would begin to dilate. As you get closer to the event horizon, time relative to you appears to move much slower, almost to the point where years pass by almost instantly. Also, the gravity is so intense, that the atoms in your body begin to unravel in what is called spaghettification.
Obviously there's currently no way to tell how the slowing of time and the undoing of every molecule of your body correlate to each other. If you could only survive a few seconds in the vortex, but those seconds stretch out for much MUCH longer, does that mean you're aware of what's happening to your body as it's happening? Do you feel it? Are you capable of perceiving anything? Would you even care if you did? The only way to find is out to sacrifice yourself to the ever devouring maw; and you wouldn't ever be able to relate the knowledge with anyone who didn't share the experience.
And that experience is... indescribable by any metric or prose humanity could possibly articulate.

Anyway, that's pretty much exactly what playing Placid Plastic Duck Simulator is like
