I've loved Dwarf Fortress for many years. I like this graphics pack, and my initial impression is that the new UI and the slight changes to the game are all for the good! It looks like this December will be spent in the deep!

I love city simulators. SimCity 2000 was one of the first games I played as a kid, and SimCity 4 stood for a decade as the best option out there. I was excited and let down by city builder after city builder...until Cities: Skylines came out of nowhere to claim the title. It remains the best city builder on the market, helped in no small part by its extensive menu of user-created mods (and, to a lesser extent, by the DLC).

I bought C:S the day it came out, and I have spent over 600 hours playing this gem, crafting magnificent cities that develop their own character and histories. I play slowly and carefully, trying to build realistically and allow the cims and terrain to guide me. There are, however, many ways to enjoy and play C:S.

I love this game. It has withstood the test of time, and it remains (by a wide margin) the best city builder that money can buy.
