This game is very simple, but this is not a downside. Its is very fun once you learn how to play its simple mechanics. The battles are easy to run, they are verying in difficulty, and very fun. I do not know about other people's experiences, but I got addicted to this game on muliple occasions. There are many upsides (many listed), but there are few downsides. The biggest by far is the gamebreaking glitch of crashing. This problem fortinatly has been fixed a long time ago, you simply have to change the resolution to anything but 800x600. Another downisde is the diplomacy, saying its is simple doesnt do it correctly, it is so bare that it hurts. Fortunately it doesnt need to be all that complicated. This is the last game before they made the 3D Rome Total War, another good game. It has a chess/boardgame feeling to it. I like it. This game is a load of fun, and good luck to anybody playing on it.

I have played this so much and there is so much content that it seems overwhelming. Ive been in regiments about the 200 hour mark. Now im coming at 850 hours now.. This is by far, my Absoulute favorite game by far.

It didnt work just vanilla on my computer, i had to install a program that makes it playable, i like the game but its shooting controls are a but off for anyone who was wondering. In vats its pretty broken as you tank anything that hits you due to the buff you get while using vats. Who anyone that is interested, this is the video that make my game playable. Overall i think its a fun game and should be played more. Also the game only marks you as playing it only in the launcher menu, so it looks like i havent played it but thats not true.
