So at the time of writing this I have around 57 hours on the game, I have completed the main story line and seen all three of the endings. I would recommend this game if you are a fan of the souls series, however if you are not I would strongly recommend you don't purchase it.

First of I'll start with the pros of the game; The world FromSoftware have created is absolutely amazing, it looks incredible. It has to be one of the best games just for visual quality. The game is a challenge, unlike dark souls 3 every main boss you fight poses a threat against you, some bosses have some mechanics which make the fight so much easier but the game is still challenging. This game basically takes everything from the previous soul's titles and enhances it to a greater extent.

The cons of the game; One major issue I have found with the game is that the bosses are overloaded with different attacks/abilities. Every main boss has between 5 - 8 different abilities which is very overloaded and annoying in fights. These bosses all have attacks that can one shot the player which I find to be very annoying as it severely punishes the player. I would be fine with the overloaded kits these bosses have if they were polished and thought out, but some of them are poorly done and are annoying. Another big issue is the horse combat, it is very poor. Some attacks just don't hit the enemy if you are too close and its just frustrating considering that a large portion of the game is spent using the horse, this should have been designed better. The story of the game was written with the help of George R.R Martin (The guy who wrote Game of Thrones) and it is just terrible, I know that souls games aren't really known for the story, but if you are going to get an amazing storyteller they should use that to create a better story line. Myself and a lot of other players have also been getting a lot of issues with the performance of the game. I have a pretty high end rig and I get the occasional stutter which can be very annoying if you are fighting enemies. I experienced the most infuriating boss fight due to issues like this where I was fighting the fire giant and every time I got him to his second phase the game would crash unless I dismounted my horse I only figured this out after about 10 crashes when I stumbled across a reddit post telling people to do this. I hope these issues are fixed soon.
