Elden Ring Nightreign is a bold and well-crafted twist on the FromSoftware formula, that delivers a thrilling and cinematic experience. As someone who loves souls games and rogue-like games, seeing these two being combined with one of the best IPs I've ever played was a blast to say the least. The game is a ton of fun, fast-paced, combat-centered and challenging, all in the right measure.

The eight Nightfarers feel distinct and greatly thought out, from their unique mechanics and play styles, to their intriguing and well presented backstories. On the same vein, the remembrance system and the overall lore presentation are top-notch, with every single cinematic being amazing. In the end, the Executor, Wylder and Iron-Eye ended up being my favorite and most used Nightfarers.

The eight Nightlords display that FromSoftware can do epic boss fights like no one else and some of them, like Fulghor, Caligo and Heolstor, are on par with the best bosses from Elden Ring and the Dark Souls Trilogy. Speaking of, the returning/reprised bosses were a thrill to fight against. The Nameless King is one of my favorite bosses of all From's games, and playing against him with Elden Ring mechanics was something I didn't know I needed. I hope they add more reprised bosses with future updates/DLCs. Now, from the Nightlords, my favorite has to be Heolstor, the Nightlord himself. His fight was incredibly engaging and cinematic, and combined with the OST, even more Absolute Cinema. I can't wait for the enhanced version/3rd phase variant.

Limveld, the set piece for the game, is beautiful and mixes well some great aspects from the Lands Between. That being said, my only complaint for Nightreign is that after some 15 to 20 hours, the repetition starts to sink in, especially playing solo. Hopefully more random events and shifting earth modifiers will be added with the coming DLC.

Overall, Nightreign is an amazing and fun experience, and a must-play for fans of FromSoftware who enjoy the thrill of the challenge, playing solo or in jolly cooperation.

SHIVERS (Legendary: Success) – Deep down, you feel as if this will always be one of the best experiences you ever had. No matter what happens from now on, Martinaise, Revachol and Elysium will live on, on you memories and soul. From the other side of The Pale: Aces high, detective.

This game is a real life time skip cheat. You can start playing at 10am, get a couple runs done, just to look out the window and see the sun rising the next morning.
