@CrazyPeople - read the comments and my responses for more clarification.
The playtime is likely because hurin is trying to like a sequel as much as it's comparable product. If a fan loved one entry surely they will love another, especially if it's being updated over time. However when the entry disappoints said fan, then they will surely wonder what they are missing. And the best way to understand something is to spend more time with it. Also of note is that Dying Light 2 isn't the same game as it was at launch, but it is still hollow and devoid of soul.
So there are reasons to return and play this game further, holding out hope that this game will hold a candle to it's predecessor, despite the fact that in reality it probably never will.
You dive into the bottle and a game.
The only difference is you've excluded the bad company.
Nothing I enjoy more than drinking and playing video games.
What most people seem to forget is; -
that without hardcore gamers, that dedicate all their free time to video games.
Then casual gamers would not have such high grade games to choose from.
I think people need proper perspective,
when it comes to what strangers spend their time on.
But this a comment section and we all have a plan,
until we get punched in the face.
Fragments of the gameplay are completely stellar, but then you have the rest which makes it a completely hollow experience devoid of anything actually interesting to keep the player besides grinding. At least Dying Light 1 had a decent story, this game doesn't. And considering the main selling points of Dying Light 2 were major choices in an interesting and dynamic story... well its suffice to say this game misses the mark too many times.
jordans_gaming1: i've played 50 hours in 20 different games, i game a lot, tee hee
hurin: 1000 hours in some other game
jordans_gaming1: NOOOOO NOT LIKE THAT!

Sell your Steam account, overcome your fears, emotions and insecurities and drastically change your life into someone you never wanted to be...
Makes a lot of sense right? It means the same thing for anyone that says "Go touch grass". WE are all GAMERS here. Who are you to go tell us how to live our life? We are living it right here where we want to be.
How about you stop trying to be a Belle Delphine look alike and stop doing OF's? Sound good? Thanks
