Even though I'm a big fan of Brotato and gladly bought DLC to support development team - I think that at current moment DLC is unpolished.
Reasons:
Introduction of new items indeed introduced new play styles, but finding unique items for a particular build became real chore. In general it feels, that something wrong with items tags and you're getting less items than it should be.
Increased amount of enemies made me using Ethereal in maybe 80% of my runs with zero reason to switch to something else, even stepping into Infinite.
Curse mechanic in general feels extremely unbalanced and luck dependant. Early Hook or particular cursed weapon / items can break any run from the get-go. On other hand - good luck finishing first 20 levels if you committed to increase your curse level, but was never able to obtain a Hook.
Coop game is welcome addition, but changing screen scale when you and your partner splitting up is distracting. I would appreciate proper split-screen much more.
Elites randomisation is weird. Maybe it is my luck, but I'm getting Sharks maybe 3-4 times more frequent than any other type of enemies.
Some enemy types, like Blobfish (the one which spawns Leeches and Cursed Loot Gremlin on deaths) are straight annoying and can end your run easily when unsuspectingly dying from collateral damage. Also mobs spawning behaviour in general feels weird (can't find better word) from time to time.

I acknowledge that 4 EUR is nothing for that DLC and I'll happily pay more, but I think few more months of testing and balancing would make a big difference. Looking forward for further patches and re-balances and will happily change my recommendation to better

This is a tough one. The visuals and sound in Hellblade 2 are absolutely stunning, but it is more a visual novella or a film, rather than actual game.
Do not expect same feel/experience like in first game, this one is simplified a lot and fights feels like total ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.
Also overall story message and implementation feels ...strange, not to say naive. Can´t say this is due to my different values, or me failing to grasp everything writer intended. I will leave this one up to you to judge.

I would recommend this game in case of sale or if you have it in game pass, but I don´t believe that 50 eur is a fair price for the experience, regardless of stunning visuals.

[update from 29.09.2022] Something has changed with latest patches and I can say that I had no experience with cheaters for few days. Also report player button have appeared in menu, which is really appreciated

Thank you developers for your work, keep it up! I'm changing my recommendation score for now.

Overall game is fun and colorful and I want to love it, really. As well as support Ukrainian developers.
Though cheaters are the real issues. PVP becoming unplayable due to "pro players" constantly killing you with one bullet from a pistol from a sniper rifle range. If this will not be sorted in nearest patches - this game may start loosing its user base really quick.
It seems like, based on quick googling - aimbots were ready and sparsely available for the game even before open test started. What is making matter worse at the moment - there is no way to report cheaters via game client

I would love to reconsider my review in future if developers acknowledge the issue and take prompt actions

In general game is fun, it require a bit of polish and bug fixes, but I like the experience

Pros:
Funny
Colorful
Dynamic
Tough on higher levels

Cons:
No proper multiplayer - game is working via Steam Play, which introducing a lot of latency issues between players as well as some graphical glitches if host launched the game in resolution higher than other players can support

I played it with friends on live-stream and in overall liked it a lot. Keep it up, guys :)

It's tough, but interesting. 5 hours livestream felt like 1 hour. Game required quite a lot of logical and abstract thinking and I have an impression that I just scrapped the barrel :)

This is small fun game, which may brighten your weekday evening mood. It is unique, funny and stylish, all characters are memorable and music is awesome.
First time I saw this game on iPad, but did not bought it for some reason. Now I bought it on Steam and I have no regrets :)

p.s. If you're that person, who wants all possible game achievements - it will take approximately 2 hours in relaxed phase to make it happen ;)

It appeared that Gaijin is buying an advertisements in DNR terrorists YouTube resources hence must be treated as terrorists supporters.
I cannot recommend using their products anymore, though enjoyed game in past...

One of the most beautiful and touching games I have played in a while.
The amount of details, narrative, quality of visuals and sound are astonishing!
I'm sure I will be revisiting this title in future
Time spent - totally worth it 10/10

I cannot say that game is particularly challenging and initially I had rather big expectations based on prologue.. It was until I reached first act...

Good things:
1. Graphics is descent
2. Soundtrack is descent
3. Game's beginning is not half bad
4. North lore is quite interesting

Bad things
1. Unbalanced music comparing to game sound
2. Ugly hit-boxes, terrain glitches, invisible walls
3. Awkward camera angles in closed areas
3. Extreme amount of walking and not that many action
4. The amount of monsters encounters is low. They are not frustrating, mostly just boring
5. Ending and overall story development

I've completed this game on live stream and will complete it once again to make sure that all achievements are collected. Apart of that - I cannot recommend this game. If you want an atmospheric game with north mythology narrative, drama and good psychedelic experience - Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice is your choice.

Beautifully crafted story, which includes a lot of mythology, a mental trauma and puzzle solving.
I will be honest, there are moments, which might be done better, also I'm not a big fan of battles in this games...
But overall immerse experience created by story, visuals and sound is totally worth it. This game is absolutely beautiful.
