There is something that I want to throw out there, something that might sound crazy, it might seem very strange but I am going to run with it ....

Buy Destiny 2 because is just like Space Invaders.

WTF I hear you say but yes it is. If you were a child around in the 1980's you will have put many coins in good old space invaders. The game never changed, it was basically the same routine every time but you kept coming back and putting in more coins, trying to get better, trying to beat the system.

That's what I think Destiny 2 is. it is a very up to date, fancy, complicated version of Space Invaders. You basically do the very same thing every time you play but yet it keeps pulling you back to play, more and more. Why, well because the more you play the better you get and the more enjoyment you get from playing it. At it's heart it got some very important things right. Things that a lot of 'better' games have not mastered. The most important of these is movement. The way you move in Destiny 2 it is why you come back for more. The more you play the better and more accurate you become and the game rewards you with spectacular kills and great loot.

It's Space Invaders guys, just with a lot of other great shiny stuff as well.

Just pulled the pin on the Shadowkeep expansion, it is one of the best expansions yet and well worth buying.

Update 15-10-2020 : I am going in again for the full Beyond Light expansion and I can not wait. Destiny 2 continues to be my go to game both to play PVE and also PVP but better still to play with friends and go on a RAID. If you own a PC powerful enough to run this at 120FPS, do yourself a favour and play it.

Update 26-11-2020 : Best expansion in a long time.
Update 23-11/2023 : Season of the Wish is about to start as we build up to the Final Shape.
Update 24-12/2024 : Games come and games go but Destiny is forever.
