After 6800 hours, I am updating this review to negative as Valve has decided to let bad actors and bot hosters utterly destroy any semblance of joy or fun that is experienced in their primary game mode that they want user to play in over other modes (casual). Every server you join will at one point or another involve hacking bots joining and ruining the server. If you dare play the game during off hours (early mornings/very late nights) you will hardly find a server that isn't just full of cheating bots that will kick you immediately. What a fun experience, to join a game and get kicked by cheating bots immediately. The current core gameplay experience is just causing the games player base to slowly get degraded, as more people leave, due to the blatant inaction by Valve in the face of bot hosters who enjoy DDOSing, Doxing, Swatting, sharing explicit images and videos of underaged individuals. Valve has shown no action in the past 2 years since valiantly tweeting that they were going to make an effort to curb the issue with cheating bot hosters. As a result, if you are new, do not waste your time downloading this game. The game it self and its main game modes are not in states that are welcoming in any sense.
