This is one of those sleeper games that is going to blow up when people realize how good it is.

I honestly can't think of any survivor type games that are as fulfilling as this one. It actually feels like I'm playing a game instead of "turning off my brain" and letting it play for me.

The way each character plays and the mechanics surrounding them is some of the most fun I've had in a survivors game.

My only minor complaint is a bit of the grindiness in some of the zones as I only play on the hardest difficulty which makes the levels take way longer. It isn't that bad because the meta progression in the game is really well done and makes you look forward to your runs even when you have to complete earlier zones.

The character uniqueness is something other games can aspire to.

This game has no right to be this fun because actually playing MOBAs feels miserable >=D

Seriously, the amount of depth in this game is crazy and both the playing matches AND the management part are really fun.
Some examples:
At the end of every season the game's rules can entirely change.
From objectives like Dragon giving different rewards like instead of gold it could give your team permanent stats.
Tower health might change and tower damage will change too.

If you have experience with MOBAs then you will quickly pick up on most of the concepts in the game.

There is a LOT to unpack in this game and you WILL be overwhelmed at first but if you stick with it this game will suck the hours out of you.

Really not much to the game in its current state and it's pretty boring. It has the skeleton for a great game it just needs some meat on its bones.

Would recommend waiting for some updates before jumping in.

It's okay in its current state. Customizing your gun is cool but the game as a whole is missing some of the fun factor. Feels like the only really viable gun is the assault rifle. Excited to see improvements over time.

Pleasantly surprised by this game! It's not especially difficult so I recommend playing it on the hardest difficulty.

The game centers around 25 dungeons that are all pretty well made and split into 4 different hubs that each have their own mechanics to work with. The puzzle's aren't really that difficult but in a doesn't-take-too-long kind of way with combat encounters sprinkled throughout.

Combat feels fine and the game lets you focus your strengths into whatever play style you want. My only complaint with combat would be that you can't block with the sword and there are no other weapon types.

There is also a fairly simple social-link-like system that rewards you in some nice ways for participating in it.

I pretty much stuck to doing the dungeons at a fairly rapid pace and clocked in at 16 hours so there's definitely meat on these bones.

Overall it's a super chill game with a seriously shocking amount of content and things to explore.
Would absolutely love to see a sequel.

Pretty uninspired and boring. Feels like they have the skeleton of a potentially good game but no meat on the bones really.

There are too many things in this game that will end your runs that are completely out of your control.
Very frustrating to play despite wanting to like it.

I am trying so hard to like this game but it feels like they ripped out all the stuff I liked about the first one and simultaneously added way more ways for it to ♥♥♥♥ you in the ass.

There's a crit token that you and enemies can get that give you 100% crit chance on your next attack but I don't know why the enemy would ever need it since they crit about 80% of the time anyway.

I will say the game has so much character and the animations for every single move in it looks absolutely fantastic. The story is cool and the narrator is as awesome as you would expect.
They certainly doubled down on the masochistic aspect and maybe that's your thing but I just feel like they sacrificed too much of the fun aspect to get there.

I love everything about the game except playing it which is a real bummer.

I think about this game a lot.

I played through this gem in 2020 and I still keep coming back to it.
I don't come back to play through it again.
I come back to remind myself why I'm even into video games in the first place.
