The Elder Scroll series wished it was this good. This game is very ambitious and a very admirable take on making a medieval simulator game. This game feels like Daggerfall but with modern engine and a real historical setting. My main gripe with this game is that the combat is very good, but can be a little overwhelming and clunky when fighting against multiple enemy and there are some quest-breaking bug that, combines with limited save, can cause frustration.

A very unique take on RPG in this gaming landscape, and a must try if you could handle some of the bug it has.

There is so many thing wrong with Resident Evil 4 Remake PC Port.

First of all, bad TAA implementation. Everything is so blurry and shimmers a lot.

Second, no 16:10 resolution? seriously? I know It's not common, but some people do play on a gaming laptops that use 16:10 screen. If you tried to play in 16:10 screen, the game got letterboxed. This may or may not bother you.

Lastly, no DLSS upscaling. While there is actually a AMD FSR upscaling feature, Nvidia graphic cards literally is the most used graphic card for gaming and they didn't implement DLSS?

All of these issues

I would gladly accept the these limitation on a smaller and cheaper indie games, but on a $60 AAA games? It's unacceptable. There are lots of bizzare decision in making this port, and the Overwhelmingly Positive review on steam doesn't really portray the reality that is Resident Evil 4 Remake PC Port's graphical settings. This review will stay this way until further updates, and I hope this review helps anyone to make an informed decision.

Setting aside the horrible directx error, Dead Space Remake is the peak of survival horror games to date.

The USG Ishimura feels more alive thanks to the more modern lighting effect and redesign of certain part of the ship. The graphical fidelity is great, it enhance the overall mood of the fleet you are going to traverse throughout your playthrough, and with RTX enable, it's a whole different experience.

The combat is as great as before with some changes to the alternate fire of some weapon and the upgrade path. The kinesis sometimes pick the wrong object, which can be quite frustrating, but nevertheless doesn't change my overall enjoyment of the combat. They also fixed the more disorienting Zero-G section in the original game with the flying mechanic close to Dead Space 2.

The story is much more personal to the main protagonist as we explore the relationship Isaac had with Nicole throughout the main story and the new side objectives. Isaac is now a voiced protagonist, which gave him more personality and more agency in the story rather than the original game. The other supporting character has a more fleshed out characterization than the original although the voice acting leave much to be desired.

Overall this game is a 10/10 and a must try for both survival horror fans or anyone who's interested in trying a sutvival horror genre.

I've been a massive fan of roguelike/roguelite games for years, and I can firmly say that this is one of the best I've ever played. Supergiant Games did an amazing job at creating this game.
