As someone who played the original from the very first version, i gotta say this is a step down in a few ways.

-building is wonky and unclear unlike the last game and you cant just dump items into a build in any order

-a modern gun that can be obtained very easily unlike the hidden old gun parts from the last game

-runs way worse then the original did on launch even on lowest settings and crashes way more often

-a mini map on start that straight up tells you where to go unlike the original regular paper map

you should wait half a year or so before buying this.

Edit:
-fish will spoil while still alive in the fish trap

-got hit with a raid of 8 dudes on only the 3rd day while on normal

-body parts will clip and fall out of map 60% of the time

-pointless animations for every little action
