Started playing this with my girlfriend and we jokingly called this an anime Overwatch clone, only to realize that not only does it feel better than Overwatch, but that also means we don't have to play Overwatch anymore. Big win.

(Jokes aside, the game is actually pretty good, the string mechanic is really unique and it's really fun. Events could be better, and the progression is slow, but the gameplay loop is enough to keep you entertained for a while)

While this game might have great physics to be praised (according to what most positive reviews say), I find it very difficult to recommend this over other options on the market at the moment. The UI/Interface is extremely clunky and unresponsive, the FFB and controls are difficult to set up and the input mappings make zero sense - it feels very weak by default on the Logitech G920, and the tweaks didn't do much to me either. The game has very little base content and the quality of mods in the workshop page is very hit or miss (mostly miss, from what I experienced anyways), which only amplifies the problem that this game has an extensive catalogue of very expensive DLCs while the base game is still lacking so much, making DLC purchases not an option or something extra to add to your game, but essentially something you NEED to get to have a good experience.

Motorsport Games is a very well known sketchy company, and despite all of the content updates, playing this compared to other options in the market just feels like a sim that felt behind compared to more recent entries in the genre. Might be worth checking out on a sale if it's something you're curious about, but you're better off playing other sims IMO.

With an ever expanding list of high quality cars and tracks, AMS2 is easily my favorite sim out of the box. The game engine from Project Cars 2 has been much improved, to a point where I think it's now fair to say it became a new game on its own - the cars feel nice to drive, sound awesome and look great. The tracks are incredible too, with a lot of detail in the environments and the surface itself, which can be felt through the robust force feedback system provided.

The game doesn't lack presentation either - As soon as you're out of the rather basic and somewhat bland but functional menus, you're greeted with a very beautiful and immersive game. Some very cool features in it as well, like varying conditions and real weather data make this sim really unique in that regard. The AI is decent enough, nothing to write home about, but it gets the job done, and there's plenty of customization available on the user's side.

It's not without it's flaws though - Multiplayer stability and sync issues still leave a lot to be desired, and the lack of a proper and functional ranking system and matchmaking make it very difficult (if not impossible) to put it in the "Semi-serious competitive league racing" territory in it's current state. It also lacks any sort of direction, and it's more of a sandbox type game where you just figure out what you want to do on your own. (A point must be added that the devs have been transparent with development, and plan to add a "deep career system" at some point, whenever that might be)

I do think the game's main strength is just how easy it is to open it, and within a few clicks you're already driving around, be it through the more-often-than-not broken-but-still-very-fun multiplayer, Time Trial or singleplayer races and championships. Being able to set up lobbies and invite your friends through Steam is fantastic, and long are the days of needing external tools or network knowledge to set up a server just for fun. Just hop in, invite a few friends, pick a wacky car-track combination and you're all set for the night.

Overall, AMS2 has an incredible amount of potential - the foundation is all there, and with the development of the game being so transparent and with consistent monthly updates, I'm confident that if Reiza keeps working on this it'll only become better and better. In its current pace, AMS2 has the potential to be amongst the big names of the sim racing genre, and that's all very exciting. Glad to be along for the ride.

8/10, Definitely recommend

While it has it definitely has its flaws (like the lack of player customization, exaggerated monetization and input lag for mkb), in it's core Halo Infinite just feels good to play, and it has a lot of potential to be the best arena shooter available if the developers keep working on it. Fun game with friends!

Every couple of years there are games that define a generation. Your Elder Scrolls, your Halos - games that build a massive cult following along the years, that people hold it so dear to their hearts, because they're just that special. For me, the original Mass Effect trilogy sits among them; the best of the best, the greatest of all time.

It's hard for me to put it into words just how fantastic these games are. The way Bioware has managed to create such a unique and evolving universe spanning across multiple games is incredible. The Mass Effect trilogy treats its worlds in such a consistent way, where your choices actually impact those around you, down to the most miniscule detail. The charming and fascinating characters, the beautifully crafted fantasy worlds and the amazing soundtrack that accompanies it make this sci-fi space opera adventure nothing short of a masterpiece.

In terms of a remaster, MELE delivers a streamlined and easy to access experience, with plenty of improvements across all games (with the majority of the being in the first two) and graphical changes, such as texture, user interfaces and lighting. It's specially noticeable in ME1, and that game in particular has been much improved from its original release.

In short, there has never been a better time to be a Mass Effect fan. If you have even a small interest in RPGs or sci-fi, this is an absolute must play.

A colorful, wholesome and fun adventure game/platformer, with creative puzzles and game mechanics, and a charming set of environments and diverse characters. One of the most passion-driven games I've ever played, A Hat In Time is just FUN.

Best entry in the franchise - Very noticeable improvements to physics, balanced and fair AI, great tracks as always and a fun single-player experience. Could use a lot more work on the multiplayer server structure, but otherwise, definitely the best racing game of the year!

Forsaken is just one of the best DLCs experiences I've had in my time gaming. The campaign is just fantastically written from beginning to end, with interesting characters, a beautifully crafted soundtrack and production which to me is the highest quality you can get. The amount of new gear is super nice, with so many armor and weapons that changed the game entirely when Forsaken came out and are still incredible weapons and armor sets to this day. That's not even counting the amount of exotics that the DLC introduced, including some new fan favorites. And after you're done with the main story and you start doing the Dreaming City stuff, then the game just takes a whole new turn for the franchise that I seriously wasn't expecting. A majestic looking city full of mystery and secrets, with the most amazing soundtrack I've heard in a while.

And then you get to the final piece of content, the peak of the DLC - Last Wish. This raid is simply the best experience I had in gaming in my life. The first time I cleared it with some friends I had this rush like nothing else, and it felt truly rewarding. I'm not huge into raids but I ended up doing Last Wish 27 times as of now, because it's just fun. Every encounter is beautifully crafted and has it's own quirks, and the raid progression feels like you're truly finishing and epic quest. And when you do get to the end of that quest, oh boy does it deliver. What a boss fight.

Honestly, I can just keep going and going about Forsaken, but when it comes down to it, Bungie just executed it very well done and they delivered a product that changed the game entirely, and I'm very appreciative for that. Good stuff, definitely recommend.

Now let's go to prison!
