I wouldn't normally leave a review for a game I have only just started but seeing as a lot of people seem to be having issues I thought it might be useful to share my experience.

I was a little apprehensive about what the performance would be like on my computer as I am starting to get to the latter end of my GPUs lifespan. However, I am currently averaging around 45 - 55 FPS with an i7 CPU, an RTX 2080 and 32GB RAM, this is with high graphics settings at a 3440 x 1440 resolution. Considering the fact that my card is getting a little old this is fine with me.

As for the game, it's very early days but so far it feels just like the original games which is exactly what I wanted so initial impressions are good. I will try to remember to update this review once I have played it properly.

Do you like steady hand games but get bored of just running a boring metal loop round a boring metal wire? Do you wish you could find a virtual version, but one that specifically has a style reminiscent of an Atari 2600 on acid? Do you also wish it had cats?

You've come to the right place.

I can't say anything that hasn't already been said. This is probably one of the most faithful retro-style games I've played (of any genre). The whole feel of the game, the maps, the secrets, the music, is just "right".

Dear God, don't read anything, just buy this bloody game.

If you have friends to experience it with and enjoy the funny side of glitches and bugs this is a hoot to play. Hopefully it will mature into a 'proper' game but I already got my £12 worth from the couple of hours I've spent in it so I'm happy either way.

DON'T read anything about it, just give it the 10 minutes it needs.

I went into this with no knowledge or idea of what to expect and I implore you to do the same.
Don't research it, avoid spoilers...

It's not a 'game' in the traditional sense of the word but if you have any interest in narrative or enjoy experimental games then you should try it.

It only takes a couple of hours to play through, do it in one sitting with no distractions. There is more emotion embedded in this little game than should be possible and I'm still mulling it over after completing it, that's a good sign.

If you think £6.99 is expensive for a two hour game just remember how much you can pay for a film on DVD. I have paid almost 6 times as much for new AAA games that haven't had the impact that this had.

If you need this game recommended then it is already too late for you.
