Good game with good concepts - The building is the most intricate of any other survival style game similar to Valheim.

Main issue I have with this and I cannot recommend this game is the combat. It's either painfully easy or so 'jank' that you die due to terrible animation lock without the ability to cancel animations.

I don't understand how that can take such a simple combat system that's similar to Valheim and make it worse.

If there was a middle ground I would rate it their. It's not bad enough to deserve a negative review but it's not good enough to be ranked among the top games like Stardew, Valheim, Satisfactory, Etc...

Change the wording you ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ idiotic developers.

I've put 100 hours into the game by now, and yeah it's not a lot (I'm relatively new) but it's all I can stomach for now.
I really do like the premise, and the game but...

It's filled with gigachads getting boners on the first ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ gunshot and beelining it straight to your location. Game is less an extraction shooter and more an arcadey FPS with looting secondary.

It's a run and gun fantasy and without a group you're ♥♥♥♥♥♥. If you're solo, and you want to run solo... good luck. You'll need it. Otherwise play something else.

It's frustrating, and you'll run out of gear due to being completely outgeared by others. Most guns one tap to the head unless you're wearing the top tier helmets, chest armor is somewhat useless.

I MAY return on new content but as of right now with the lack of newer players/casual players around the same skill level, it's dead in the water.

I recommend this game because it's a zoo with awesomely well done animals and the building system is amazing.

I marked it NO because THE PATH SYSTEM IS SO ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ATROCIOUS. So many situations where a build next to another will connect and you go to connect the OTHER ONE AND IT JUST ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ GOES, "NOPE. CAN'T DO IT. IT'S ON THE SAME GRID BUT NO. SACRIFICE YOUR FIRST BORN AND I'LL CONNECT!"

GOD! It's like the developers didn't listen to the ♥♥♥♥ about the path system in their first game and was like, "Yeah. This is a good idea. NOTHING wrong with our previous path system. Nope. Perfectly fine. Let's port it the same as it was in Planet Coaster. Now excuse us. Me and the bois gonna snort some lines of coke off of each other's asses, and maybe do some whippets if we're feeling freaky."

And yes, maybe it's the frustration getting the better of me but when I spend half an hour trying to get a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ simple path to connect while also using the 'align to grid' function. The game just doesn't ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ work as intended.

It's been years. Why? Why not ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ fix the path system? Why do we have to put up with subpar systems? ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. I need a drink.

Great Settlement builder and concept ruined by a larger company buying the indie developer and more than likely pulling all efforts of the smaller developer's project of love to work on another project, -coughcoughanythingRiotGamestouchesisruinedcoughcough-

I wish there was a middle option. I recommend this game, it's an amazing game of survival and taming ONLY when you're playing on a custom server.

I haven't played Vanilla in years and I don't regret it.

It's too much of a grind and it's horribly imbalanced for solo players.

Get/Join a private dedicated server with mods and some tweaks to exp/taming/etc... and then enjoy the game. It's great.

I've never believed in ghosts until I came face to face with one. So I set out on a quest to capture what I once saw onto video....With no big camera crews following us around, I am joined only by my fellow investigators ... The four of us will travel to some of the most highly active paranormal locations, where we will spend an entire night if we have to, locked down from dusk until dawn.

RAW. EXTREME. These are our... Ghost Adventures.

I've clocked almost 100 hours on this game (and climbing) - It's one of the most frustrating but enjoyable games this year.
I'm completely new to the franchise, though I've known about Monster Hunter for years.

This game has paid for itself with interest.
The game can be overwhelming for newcomers, as long as you refuse to ignore the tips/tutorials, and it eases you in within the first few quests.

I noticed a ton of negative reviews saying their isn't much guidance and that's the point, honestly. This game is made so you, as a player are thought to be intelligent enough to learn to play without someone hand-holding you.

I'm loving this game and I literally dropped playing almost every other game on my steam library and non-steam games to play this. It's awesome, and if you decide to give it a shot, play it past the 2 hour mark.

This game gets a 10/10 from me.

I completed this game within the hour; and I feel refreshed and at peace.

Mandagon is a short platformer with basic controls and wonderful story... and that's all it needs to be.

Its music and art really lend itself to a form of tranquility and awe. I can't say anymore. This is a short but, sweet journey and well worth a play through.
