I wholeheartedly recommend Portal 2. The gameplay was great and always a joy in singleplayer, and multiplayer just adds to it all.

With an insane amount of mods and a virtually limitless gameplay, KSP makes one come back for more. The fun never stops, whether its's building rockets, airplanes, or even giant mechs.

AWESOME GAME. DUH.

Edit: Years later TF2 continues to hold its shine.

Edit 2: Over the past few years, Valve has neglected and abandoned TF2 to the point where this beloved game from my adolescence is unrecognizable, overrun by racists, bots, and hackers. I can’t recommend the game in its current state due to this, even though the core gameplay continues to hold up to this day.
